Favourite World Cup Team - Brazil 1982 Favourite World Cup Goal - Nelinho, Brazil - 1978 Favourite World Cup Tournament - Spain 1982 Favourite World Cup Moment - 'Favourite' would be an odd description, but the one that sticks in the memory is the France vs West Germany semi-final in 1982 and Shumacher's assault on Patrick Battiston which didn't even warrant a free kick. There's very much a theme of the World Cup being so much more special when you're young. 1982 was magical for me (the final was played on my 8th birthday) and was the first World Cup I collected Panini stickers for. I could name you every group and recall most of the scores from that tournament. I'd struggle to tell you anything memorable about the last 2 or 3 World Cups. Title: Re: Your favourite.......... Truly incredible to watch given he was probably high on coke at the time. Tournament - Just shade 1986 as GL won the golden boot. Can't remember a goal in the tournament that made me leap three feet off the sofa, but that one did. A phenomenal strike. Favourite World Cup Tournament - USA 1994...
