Wifes passport, applied for last week and issued on the 4th Feb, STILL hasnt arrived! The damn courier hasn't been, and will be here sometime before 6pm she was told when she called the office.

But the flight is at 15.30pm!!! Lucky I havent paid for it yet, GRRRRRRRRR.

If it doesnt come soon then i'll have to FLY (read, do 120mph on the motorway) to get a later flight from liverpool airport, 19.30pm.

Either that or risk an early flight in the morning and hope to arrive before 2pm in Deauville.

I think I can safely say I'e missed the glasgow prestwick flight, its half hour to the airport, checkin closes at 14:50 (15:30 flight). Passport not here.

liverpool is 180 miles away. checkin closes at 7pm (flight 19:30). So ill have to set off at the latest about 16:30 or 5pm. I can do the journey in 2 hours if I break the law.....

or you could just leave the wife at home and go on your own................

Leave at 5pm, average 90mph.  Hope the motorway is clear... which is unlikely and you'll need time to get into the terminal after parking etc... leave at 4pm if you can at the very latest.

I got home from Cardiff in two hours, 150 miles, stopping for petrol on the way.  It can be done if you drive like your pants are on fire.

Went Dominican with ex last year, had my passport checked by post office sent to Peterborough who then sent it to Durham. When it got close to the time of going I phoned up no one knew where it was, So I was due to fly on the Sunday and went to Victoria Office on the Saturday to pleaded for them to issue me one there and then, They told me I should of recieved it and wasn't going to issue me one (arseholes they were) but after pleading I hadn't recieved it they issued one 12 hours before my flight. (It cost me £100)

I got home the Saturday Evening and the other one was on the carpet as I opened the door posted from...... Victoria.
