The rate he is going, he is going to run out of places to play. This is probably a good thing for him, as well as the rest of us.

As was mentioned in the article, I think it's possible he has a mental health issue/gambling addiction and whilst it doesn't excuse his behaviour, it may explain why he does it. It's also possible that he's just a thieving bastard.

Shared a table a few times. Without doubt, a talented poker player. "Deeply unpopular"? Depends. On some days, I have found him entertaining. On others, excruciating.

The first time he did this, I presumed it was the result of drink or drugs. He pretty much had to lose his sponsorship, but I felt many poker players were too judgmental. Like the OP, I was all for giving him a 2nd chance.

Seems like he has wasted it. Which is a shame.

Obv he likes flying close to the sun with his antics, regardless of what transpired out there.

I imagine it'll soon be a case of 'In for the min, and ironed out to the max'.

Interesting, becomes less believable as Kassouf has vouchers and original story is 2nd hand.

What I did pick up is that there is certainly an implication that be used sleight of hand in the original theft, and it wasn't just a drunken grab.

Either way I'll probably just move back to assuming there isn't much here and he seemed to get over punished for a bad indiscretion in the first place.

Think I am going to take more care in taking photos of chips at the WSOP.  I tend to count before I leave and when I come back I sit there thinking was it 65k or 55k I had and just accepting any differences as bad memory!

Yes, I think he's innocent of the latest accusation. It just makes no sense.

He's obnoxious & widely disliked, so stories about him tend to get embellished.

The accusations are good entertainment though, Willy K loves to entertain so I'm surprised he sounds a bit sore about it
