Title: Old firm game on sunday
Post by: RFC on February 11, 2006, 01:26:56 AM
I know 99% of the scottish blondites on here are celtic supporters

I just want to tell you all to enjoy the game and have a laugh

im not starting this thread to get nasty replies or abuse like most people out with the old firm belive we all
do all the time

Every blonde i have met at cincin and is a celtic supporter i have had a great night with
so poker must bring us all together and show us we can all get along

In glasgow the banter is one of the funniest things we do and we do it good without malice
So lets all enjoy it

MODS: If you think this thread is out of order or gets out of order please delete and PM thx

Never mind RFC, maybe your lot will do a " Clyde " and give Celtic a tanking on Sunday !!  ;)  ;goodvevil;

( Sorry Celtic fans, not trying to remind you of that terrible ;D  90 minutes you suffered at the hands of the mighty Clyde  ;hide;)

I'm going for a draw ..... ;scarymoment;

Come on the Super Hoopies!!

I'm really looking foward to Sunday.  I honestly think it could go either way, both teams have been pish as of late, it could be argued that Rangers are doing worse but I have a funny feeling that DM breaing the news about big Ginger Baws will gee the Rangers players right up.  I do hope I am wrong.

I just hope the Broomie is bouncing for 90 minutes with a great atmosphere.

I'm away to the Thistle game the day with a few mates then playing Poker the night in a home game so I will be pished drunk in the morning and I'm heading straight to Ibrox from Cambuslang.

To be fair, we have a pretty bad habit of losing to the wee diddy teams this season, so Sunday could be a tricky one  ;ifm;

nil-nil I reckon

10/11 more than 2 goals is a stonking bet.

Both defenses are chronic of late but both are scoring.

Maloney and Burke may have the key to the game and Maloney is on fire :)

Eck must stay ;)

Rangers to edge it! Should be raining goals at Ibrox tomorrow in any case, both defences are as much use as a chocolate teapot/chocolate watch/inflatable dartboard, take your pick! Lovenkrands will be deciding factor me thinks (if Big Eck gives him a game of course and not on left wing)!

Thanks for that mate thats realy nice of you

Anyway 3-2 to the gers
 in an old firm game anything can happen so you cant predict the score
as long as its a good game and not a boring devensive one that no one wants to try and score

 :dontask:

hi for clarification. A weegie is a glasweigen - one who hails from glasgow. A tuchtor (chookter) is anyone who does not hail from Glasgow. One of those folk who has intimate relations with sheep, or so the legends have it. its hard to tell because its all kept behind a closed door these days.
all you really need to know is that glasweigens are the best people in the world regardless of whether they are green or blue (on the whole)

mad

According to all the online bookies, we (RFC) are favourites? Not sure how they worked that out but...
28/1 Kyriakos first goal! Any corner will do....

You can watch the match live at www.asiaplate.com

You will need to download the TVants software from here (http://www.asiaplate.com/members.php)

You will also need to register as a member which is free, if you haven't done so already.

If you do need any help with the Tvants software please visit the asia plate forum and send Colgate a PM. I won't be available, as I'm going to the pub to watch the mighty Spurs score at least 5 goals against Sundershite.

 ;D ;D ;D

I had a tenner on 0-0 at 11/1, but the goal was a Celtic goal, so I don't mind  8)

did anyone predict the correct score?

Was at thegame at the copland road end. Pretty poor game with celtic the better team for thefirst 20 min and not much between them after that.

Only bit of trouble I saw was just before the start of the 2nd half the cetic keeper faced the crowd and crossed himself. It did not go down to well and a couple of the fands actually reported him to the police.

Why would that cause trouble.

Boruc has a ritual before the start of EACH half of EVERY game where he stands on 6 yard line, faces the goal hes about to defend, looks at both posts in turn then the crossbar, claps his hands over his head then blesses himself.

I know this to be true because I sit behind the goals at CP.

If anyone is offended by this I think the problem is with them & not Boruc. What did they want the police to do, arrest him  ::).

Celtic were the better team from first minute to last. The tactics were basically take the game to Rangers, score, play out the rest of the game in 2nd gear.
Keane was head & shoulders above everyone else on the park & ran the show. Only Rangers players you could give pass marks to were the youngsters Hutton, Smith & Burke. Ferguson was anonymous again & Kyriakos is an embarrassment to his club.

21 & counting

teacake you know what the situation is like at an old firm game and what instigates the fans
if something like that happened at your place all the fans would of wanted blood  (and dont say .. what crossed himself  :D )

thought you had the better of us for the first 20 mins then the whole game was rubbish
the worst 2 old firm  teams ive seen for years

But we welcome the challenge
