Title: O/T wireless internet, port forwarding Post by: BlueWolf on February 11, 2006, 07:32:52 PM any of you technologically advanced bunch know anything about port forwarding on a router?
i have found a few guides via google and on the manufacturer of the router (its not mine its actually 2 floors down :S ) but my downloads are sloooooww and i would love an idiotws guide to doing this, anyone any experience? Then it's a simple case of telling your client which ones you are using, then setting the same ones in the port forwarding section of your router to the same. Title: Re: O/T wireless internet, port forwarding Post by: Ginger on February 12, 2006, 02:56:56 AM It may sound rather simplistic and obvious, but for the best coverage you want the router as close to the center of the "network" as possible. So, if you have a pc's on the ground and 2nd floor, see if it's possible to locate it on the 1st floor, sometimes just relocating it on the floor that it currently on will be enough.
