Title: Winning Streaks Post by: MrMoves on February 14, 2006, 02:59:24 PM A question for cash players. What's your longest winning streak? In days, hours, sessions or whatever.
I just completed my 23rd winning session in a row *brag brag brag* biggest $656, smallest $3 LOL! I'm feeling rather chuffed. (http://www.paulsandellspoker.com/streak.jpg) A snip from Poker Charts. I wish he would go alway more often!!!
It was like a small dose of winning the lotto for 3 weeks. Title: Re: Winning Streaks Post by: MrMoves on February 14, 2006, 03:35:21 PM I hope you treated him, financially, when he arrived home Ruth.
Title: Re: Winning Streaks Post by: ruthless1 on February 14, 2006, 03:42:42 PM I spent it mostly on the kids, home, holiday, sod giving it back to the casino!

He said that he had a friend who claimed to have gone 50 something sessions in profit but as it turned out it was a manufactured streak as once the player found himself in profit he ended the session there by ensuring that the streak continued - even if it meant him leaving a "good" game (ie the chances were he would have made more of a profit if he had continued to play).

I agree with that. I don't remember any instances of stopping just because I was ahead. I don't get much time to play, but I play for as long as possible or until the fish have gone away. I'll be stunned if I reach 30, nevermind 50! |
