Title: Omaha Horror Post by: tikay on June 30, 2005, 03:54:49 AM I was chatting to El Blondie tonight about his exit from the $5,000 Omaha. Dave quite fancied his chances in this, he believes he has an "edge" against most of the field.
He don't do bad beat stories, nor do blonde, but facts are facts, this was his exit hand...... He held 9-9-6-8 double suited. His oppo, Toto Leonidas, held A-K-J-8, suits not known. Flop was 9-7-2 rainbow. Toto raised pre-flop, Dave called. Dave trap checked the flop, Toto Bet, Dave Re-Raised all-in for $28,000. Toto called. Hit his middle pin T, & the board failed to pair. Goodnight. Some call, eh? Title: Re: Omaha Horror Post by: BlueWolf on June 30, 2005, 04:08:24 AM definately wonder what his chip position was tho cos if he was similair to dave its a brave one lol
Title: Re: Omaha Horror Post by: tikay on June 30, 2005, 01:37:47 PM Fair point Wolfy, but from the way Dave described it to me, Toto was in a position to get away from the hand. But I don't know the fine details.
And I thought that sorta thing only happened in 0.25 - 0.50 online games! Such is life. Title: Re: Omaha Horror Post by: snoopy1239 on June 30, 2005, 02:08:11 PM It happens in $5/10 online games too. ???
