Title: Full Tilt Poker Post by: Bongo on June 30, 2005, 11:13:22 PM I fancy spreading my wings a bit and trying some new sites. Full Tilt look quite good to me due to the $600 sign up bonus.
I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and whether or not it was any good? Also does anyone know of any rake backs etc? Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: ifm on June 30, 2005, 11:23:08 PM Very nice site and software (you can sit in any seat you like), all the pro's they affiliate with play regularly, mostly in tourny's ......usually with bounty's on them. They will also chat to anyone who asks which is good, though if you're actually on the table with them the constantly repeating questions drives you nuts!! how they remain so patient i'll never know.
Phil Ivey though only plays high limit cash games but he does it very regularly, also Ben Affleck who apparently plays under tryangle. Bonus is comulative, you get so much back for every x amount of rake. Know nothing of rakebacks though. Overall a good site. Bit of an urban myth. http://www.tryanglepoker.com/ A few of the players at Notts were talking about Full tilt last night. I haven't played much there, everytime I logged in there was only 1 micro blind PLO8 game and I didn't fancy the other games. Are the tournies any better? Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: ifm on July 01, 2005, 01:48:09 PM Yeah, i saw that a while back. I did play for a bit with whomever it is and all you got was a constant stream of "hi Ben" "are you Ben Affleck" and many, many Jenny Lopez insults!!
He/she never replied. Ian Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: Bongo on July 01, 2005, 05:00:06 PM Seems good enough for me :)
Anyone got an affiliate link or anything? I looked for a blonde one but couldn't find it. Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: ontilt on July 01, 2005, 05:19:18 PM I really like it software wise, although you won't find a great volume of players outside the holdem games. It is also the only place I know of to offer Razz and it can be fun if you get to play with some of the pros who are on there quite regularly. http://on-tilt.blogspot.com/2005/02/razz-with-jennifer-harman.html Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: jbsc7769 on July 01, 2005, 07:35:22 PM I have recently just started playing it and I also have to say it seems pretty good to me.
The one down side, the Sit & Go's seemed to take a while to fill up. As a consequence I stuck to the cash games. Great site though, Great graphics. Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: tikay on July 01, 2005, 07:41:58 PM Agree. Thewy made me sign up to try a WSOP Qualifier a few weeks back, actuallly quite liked the site graphics & structure. But they BOMBARD me with promo e-mails. So I will never play their site again. I hate & loathe tht kinda thing. It's age related. Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: Bongo on July 01, 2005, 07:49:18 PM I'll just route them straight to the spam box then. ;)
Title: Re: Full Tilt Poker Post by: ifm on July 01, 2005, 08:29:51 PM I signed up with the hotmail addy and they automatically junk 'em.
Though i must say i get no more from them than any other, actually they send pro tips so at least you get some useful stuff not like the others, bluesquare is pretty bad for junk mail though.
