Not that I'm jealous or anything ;-) ;adamM; ;adamM; ;adamM; ;adamM; I saw another video last year with some 8 year old playing some amazing stuff like the clappers. Seen that one? I'll try and find it. Title: Re: O/T guitar Post by: Sark79 on February 22, 2006, 01:17:41 PM That kid is amazing. It reminds me of the first time I watched the movie Crossroads. Not the crappy Britney Spears movie, the one about Robert Johnston. At the end of the movie, the main character played by the karate kid has a guitar showdown with Steve Vai. The kid in the clip is as good as the crossroads scene. Good find.
All we need now is a bass player. Along with the drummer kid, they could be called the ' Virtuoso Band'. Found it via Google...check this out: http://www.youtube.com/w/8-year-old-virtouso%21?v=U0gsk9PELEQ&search=Paul%20Gilbert (http://www.youtube.com/w/8-year-old-virtouso%21?v=U0gsk9PELEQ&search=Paul%20Gilbert) It says the kid's 8. I have my suspicions that he is not. Maybe a small 14. Anyway, "he plays like a mofo" - quoted from another site :D Title: Re: O/T guitar Post by: AdamM on February 22, 2006, 01:47:33 PM Sark, yeah awsome piece of film. Vai at his best
