well i wasnt going to say anything but this place is one big clique. everyones in it except me and i feel left out. i never get to a final, i didnt even know what a railbird was. ;goodvevil;

action man, you need to contribute your subjects if you feel current topics are not your cup of tea. that way you can discuss what you want.

seriously though. i did think some of the members here were more friendly with some than others. it takes time to get to know folk even on a forum so give it time and most important of all, talk about what you want. i think you will get responses to most things. remeber though that you will always get people who are more pally with each other on and off the forum. thats life but doesnt make it bad

With posts up to 236 there must be something you like about blonde , i agree with what Mad said.
I dont "click" with anybody on blonde , i feel i get on with most people and have no need to " click " with anybody in particuler.
Ok saying that iguess i " click " with M3 , something to do with being married to him  :blonde:
OK rambling of a mad woman over , have a nice day  :)

Its a whole lot less cliquey than it was in the early days I can tell you...there I was looking on night after night forlornly as people chuckled at Red Dog and cheered on Tikay as he won a few beans, as Kev talked about Pies and Ifm Ranted. Some bloke called Nemesis went bananas with smileys and a lawyer bloke joined in the fun too and that was about it!.
2600 members later, they still do it!

Meanwhile Mr actionman

try this

If you ask for railbirds in your bathroom and set up a webcam, we can all share the experience with you!!!

I think you are correct, Mad. Not everyone can be best of friends, as long as we respect other members opinions, it will be cool.

Talk about what you want, like Mad says above.  Look at me, I talk crap most of the time...doesn't bother me. I know I still listen to myself..so I will always have a fan, lol.

I really don't think there is a problem with Clickyness(Sp?)  ( or is that cliqueyness?) on Blonde. So far, I haven't really crossed swords with anyone or if I have it has been accidental. Everyone I have come across seems friendly and helpful.

As far as railbirds go, I don't think there is a problem with it. I personally don't like people watching my games. If they wanted to see a fish they could buy a goldfish instead.

when i first arrived here, I was a member no longer then 2mins when i was mentioned by Kev in one of his posts, then we all attended the Blondebash in Brummy, where people started to form friendships and put names to faces.

this possibly might explain why some are more chatty with others.

please dont be put off by this tho.

I have a problem with the word "Clique" ,  You have to understand the ever growing size of the membership on here, it is without doubt the busiest poker forum in the UK, and as such new people are joining everyday.

Think of it as a workplace , when a new person joins, the others try and make the newcomer feel welcome, but ultimately it is the newcomers responsibility to interact with the others and find his/her feet and come to enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

Just scroll through as many pages of the "General" section of the forum as you like, there is at least 1 "welcome new member" thread on every page.   We Value every new member equally and everyone on this forum has the right to express an opinion.  Thats why "Blonde" is so popular, a £1 stt player can ask a question, and get a response from a WSOP bracelet winner.

In my opinion an internet forum is much like life itself, you get out what you put in.

Ahh  a big boy did it and ran away ehhhh

for what its worth I reckon this is one of the  most "inclusive" forums i have ever been on.. All new users get a warm welcome and even an invite to the Blonde Bash... Every post on the hand analysis board no matter how daft gets answered in a friendly manner and if a user posts a truly daft question they dont get flamed...  its a testament to the people on this board that no-one has even said that they dont believe for a minute that it was you that wrote the post when you were pissed and that if a mate wrote it he would have had to be very familiar with TK and DC and that would be very unlikely...   Everyone has accepted that it was a mate that accessed your computer and there's a pile of forums that would have banned you by now...     I always read back my posts before hitting the send button and I realise that this post might be taken in the wrong context..  It is meant merely as an example of the friendliness of this forum that it was instantly accepted that it was a mate that posted on your computer...   Oh and last year my "mate" emailed my details to a pvc lovers website and I keep getting catalogues through the door so I know how easy its done   :D     THATS my excuse and I am sticking to it  ;-P

as a fairly new member to blonde i can say that the majority of people on  here are far from clicky.

i have had people railbirding me and that includes tikkay reddog etc, guys that dont no me from adam and have far more important things to do but still find time to support members they hardly know on various sites.

also attended the first blonde bash where i was previleged to play on the same table as reddog colchester kev andalright jack amongst others and felyt t ease with there company.

i have since pointed 6 or 7 of our groups members to the site some of which post more than others.

blonde clique i dont think so !

Ok,

Interesting subject. I wont mention any names but I met somene in a casino not long ago who is a blondite but who doesn't post much. Their reason for not posting much? Too cliquey.

I told them to get back on here and give it another go and they have since but, to my dismay, not all that much.

The fact is blonde does have "in house jokes" and stuff like that but I dont see anything wrong with it as long as we make the conscious effort to welcome the newbies into the fold. Once they are here we answer their questions.

From there on in it's their job to get involved.

However the bottom line is everyone cant be kept happy. If people cant tolerate the blonde spirit then that really is their issue.
