I'm new to the Poker World so please go easy on me! I have been a bit of a lurker for the past couple of months, but thought I would make my first post! I just thought I would see if anyone else is going to the British Poker Open this month? I saw the story on the Blonde homepage and managed to get myself and my husband some tickets for Saturday's heats :D The guys at The Poker Channel wouldnt tell me the exact lineup for our heat - but gave me some of the names of people entering - and i'm excited to say the least! Don't know if the field is public knowledge yet - but some of the players include DU, ML, NB, GH, GJ, as well as a few 'C List' celebs. I applied direct to them to buy in and didn't even get a reply saying sorry no seats etc. I sent several more emails over the last couple of months and still got nothing. I am not interested in an event who thinks its more important to arrange tickets for spectators than deal with the players who supported the event last year.

The girl I spoke to, Emma I think her name was said that the places filled up extremely quickly this year. Sorry if I sound rude - but what is your name?
