...and its called Tag Team Poker...

Heads up would probably work best. 1 tag per level allowed.

i'm away to sell this to the WPT. Or the WWF if they arent interested...

they're trying this at gutshot next tuesday as part of their 2nd birthday party.
120 teams of 2 playing a £40 nlhe freezeout. it's going to be very crowded

They could never do that in the summer...dear god.

I'll be interested to see how it works though!

not as good as radison, teams of 2 each get 1 hole card and have to make joint decisions with out revealing hole cards.

I did that with Craig the dealer at Cincins one night. We were rotating dealing in a cash game, and teamed a sit n go.

He got the chips as I dealt upstairs and then I took the puppy home when it was his turn to deal.

Well, I did a deal heads up, 60/40 split. We ended up winning a tenner each I think  ;karabiner;

It's not the money though, it's more the Newmanseye and fergus8 eliminating that I got my rocks off to.

I was never in favour of that tagteam game and I still object to 2 players playing the 1 hand, its harder to get the read when people switch every level or 2

Hows this for a Crazy Zebra Tag-Team Poker Plan?

What you need : 4 players (2 teams of 2) two decks of cards, a biscuit, some sticky backed plastic and a pair of oven gloves.

How to Play : Each team member plays his counterpart heads up for 5 hands. This goes on at the same time (hence 2 decks of cards)

After the 5 hands, one of the teams swaps seats, leaving the chips where they are, and plays a different opponent. After another 5 hands the other team swaps seats in a similar fashion. etc etc

When one team member loses all their chips, they are not eliminated just yet. Instead, that team is said to be "on it's arse" The team member who still has chips must give as many or as little chips to his buddy as he chooses. (tactical desicions aplenty)

If a team which is "on it's arse" has another of it's members eliminated then the game is over, the other team have won.

If both teams are "on their arses" and both lose a player in the same hand, then whicever team has the most chippies is the winner.

Not quite sure where the biscuit, sticky backed plastic and oven gloves fit in yet. Always good to have them handy though.

Staff priviliges, get over it. ;ifm;

I was just delighted to walk into a stack.

Won the tournament just saying "raise" it was great.  rotflmfao
