Title: Physical Action Binding? Post by: Splash on March 11, 2006, 10:40:37 AM Everyone knows that verbal actions are binding.... but what about physical actions?
When I'm concentrating hard... final table stress etc .. I tend to tap my foot on the floor and drum my fingers on the desk. Playing recently the drumming of my fingers was taken as a check, normally i'd pat the table and say check, but I can see how me constantly tapping the table is misleading.... unfortunalty I dont know Im doing it half the time Thoughts? :) Title: Re: Physical Action Binding? Post by: madasahatstand on March 11, 2006, 11:40:13 AM i must say that constant tapping does my head in. its like sitting in the pictures and someone keeps tapping the back of your chair. very annoying. do you tapp loudly or are you talking gentle finger taps? i say ban it.......lol

I think the word check or a prominent tap of the table should be used only. Prob saved u some money! :D As for the final table nerves I'm sure there would be if I ever made one! It was a serious post! As a side note I can sit with an even pulse when playing for large stakes online but last week I noticed i'd got the shakes in my local £10 rebuy! Go figure! Post by: Yogi-Bear on March 11, 2006, 04:42:17 PM I prob wouldn't take it as a check but would tell you that you are confusing the dealer somewhat, and get the dealer to wait for a verbal confimation from you.
