i can understand the flat call of his raise pre flop but why so passive on the flop?

Easy fold.

To be honest he has wiped out 2 players on the table... one with k9 vs ak allin on the 9k4 flop.

And hit a str8 on the other, did'nt see the hand but think he got lucky.

I am playig it passive on the flop because i want to see a none scare card on the turn, if he is flushing or pair and str8 draw i can make it expensive with one card to come!

But it was a scare card on the turn lol... Probably the worst card in the deck!

Fold for me too

Reluctant, but definate fold.   

Although the guy seems loose and was likely to call I'd have re-raised pre flop and at least doubled his bet (assuming he bet out given a decent pre flop raise) post flop.

Well i passed... tho i did'nt last much longer in the comp! Maybe i shouda lumped it in and hoped!

I play alot of hands very differently to people, but in this situation i wanted to gain alot of chips against this guy he was definately a guy who could lose them all with tip pair!

Slow playing aces is ok, aslong as you can pass them... if the turn was a none scare card ie  7c all my money would've gone in.

Looks like a great comp that on stars... I will be playing again, lots of good players but thats the only way to improve!

I don't get the check call here on the flop. I'd either check raise say to 1.5k or lead out for a pot sized bet. Now when the turn card brings the scariest card in the deck you have NO idea where you stand and you MUST fold to his bet.

I make good decisions normally based on very little information so that didnt worry me, i don't want all my money in on the flop against his hand... if i raise i only want him to pass, and if he calls i am in trouble! he would'nt call with alot worse hand than mine... so don't want to go racing when i have no outs if he hits, and thats if i am ahead!

Like i said earlier,  a none scare card on the turn and i may put my money in... if he is drawing he has to go for it on one card.

I play it exactly the same way Ian good play I think.

There are more rounds of betting than preflop and on the flop guys. Check calling the flop is fine.

I did'nt no, never asked him to be honest...

I want to see the turn before making my decision, key in this i think! I don't think i gain much by moving in on the flop, if he is bluffing he passes and if he calls i am in trouble!

What hand would he call me with that i particularly like?

I was about to reply saying it was an easy fold but then I noticed from the HH it would seem that your opponent was raising from the cutoff. 
If this player had been playing agressively or had started playing more pots after building up a stack I would be inclined to put him on a steal.  A 4BB raise from the cutoff would not indicate any great strength to me but it would depend on how the 3 players left to act had been playing.  If the 3 had been playing tightly he could be on a steal.  If they were loose and aggressive he could be raising with a medium PP (possibly up to JJ) and possibly AQ to KJ. 

I would have re-raised preflop, possibly equal to his raise maybe twice (as much as insurance against later steal attempts as anything else).  If the flop is all rags you can then try to trap.  With a flop like the one you got I would lead out with a pot sized bet or try a check raise.  Against an aggressive player I would be more inclined to check raise.  If you put 1350 on top of his 650 you have around 2k left which is still enough to play with if he puts you all in and you fold.  If he is on a steal he will see you have committed half your stack to the pot and should guess you are prepared to go all the way with the hand.  If he is on a draw he has to think it is going to cost him the rest of your stack. 

He bet 650 into a 450 pot after you checked which suggests he is not too bothered if he takes the pot down now.  His overbet could mean he is trying to make it expensive for a flush draw.  The problem with not betting out or raising is you have no idea where you stand.  Once you called his flop bet and the Qd fell your goose is cooked.  There are too many 2 pair, set, flush, and straight possibilities that beat you to call any bet.  The only thing you can beat now is a bluff.  Given the way you played the hand I would have put you on a draw.  If the Qd fell the only way I would be prepared to bet out into that board after you checked would be if I had the flush.

Actually it was an easy fold after all.

Ak as JP says. - in fact once he bets so much on the turn i think his hand is AK with the  Ad.

I am late to the game here.  If you really wanted to take his money, you have to apply the max pressure pre-flop.  When he tries to steal, go all-in.  It will look like you are trying to protect your hand and he will call if has AK, AQ or maybe even KQ (since he has been so aggressive and on a rush).  If he calls you may get outdrawn, but you put your chips in with the best of it.  If he folds, you stole back and he will think twice about raising your BB.  I would never have a problem putting my tourney life on the line with AA preflop.  Many go broke waiting until after the flop.
