Truth is, when the cards run as bad for me as they did that night, I just ain't got the game to do much about it. I lost 3 on the bounce to The Rookie Wilson too. He soon recognized, being a great reader of the game, how bad I was running - he called my optimistic River bet after I'd actually caught a bit of the board for the first time in yonks, the river was a Deuce, & I held K-2 & actually thought I was winning. He called.....with A-2......! Then I made a lunge with K-7, he typically called with J-9, not much in that one, until the flop came Q-T-8...... One of those nights. |
