Title: Casino Dress Code Post by: daveymck on July 12, 2005, 03:38:43 PM I am now a fully paid up member of a couple of the Grovsner casinos and am planning on playing a few tournaments.
Could someone confirm the dress code I know it tends to be "smart casual" whatever that means. I take it that means no jeans or trainers? Does that mean dark black jeans are not acceptable? Black Trainers? T shirts do they have to be polo neck ones or anything half decent. Or should I turn up in my work stuff. Thanks Title: Re: Casino Dress Code Post by: RED-DOG on July 12, 2005, 03:48:46 PM Hi, which Grovsners? the ones I play at really dont mind as long as your not taking the p*** I wear my jeans/polo shirts etc no probs

there has been recent enforcing of the dress code at Grosvenor Newcastle, no sports tops, shorts, ripped jeans vests, hooded tops or baseball caps, although a baseball cap would probably be alllowed if only worn in the cardroom and nowhere else. One exception to the named venues - you MUST have a collared shirt at The Vic, if I am not mistaken. |
