Title: Constructing a book based on limited infomation Post by: Rupert on March 22, 2006, 05:47:25 PM I've been asked to construct a book for a staff vs punters event for some do. It's just to add a bit more spice to the game and i'll probably limit the action at £5 per person or thereabouts to avoid ruining the integrity of the game. I have never made a book before though so i'm not too sure where to start. The previous two matches results were 9-2 to punters and 5-1. Both teams are likely to be very similar to the teams that played before. The pitch is a neutral venue as well. So how would I go about constructing a 105% book?

id bet 1/5 punters and 4/1 staff lay right amounts both you will show small profit because of the one sided look why not lay a correct score book or even a handicap match bet? Title: Re: Constructing a book based on limited infomation Post by: Rupert on March 22, 2006, 06:15:54 PM Asian handicap would be a good idea, once again no idea where to set the line. Correct score would just be a profit making excercise since its so unpredictable -- i'd rather not do this one. My mate whos playing said that a first goalscorer would be a good one, he reckoned I could get away with sticking everyone at 5/1!! 366% book not including subs! I'd like to book on the draw as well just in case
