Title: My Pilgrimage Post by: Heid on March 24, 2006, 12:27:30 PM On Sunday it is time for my biannual pilgrimage to Mecca.
I will endure 10 hours of purgatory, in quiet contemplation, sitting in an uncomfortable position, probably next to a small screaming child who has an undiagnosed but very obvious gastrointestinal malady (medical name: squits). I will endure being thrown small cans of own brand cola (I hope this doesn't make me more of a chav). Salvation will arrive in the form of McCarran International Terminal. After a brief interrogation to prevent non-believers from entering Mecca, I will make my way to the historic religious centre of Mecca (not the infidel capital that is known as Clark County). I will be staying for 14 nights, and making daily donations to the Poker and Slot Gods. I liked that post H...I truly hope you enjoy every second of it ( what a bloody silly thing to say as I know for sure you will ). I will be be thinking of you out there every day, whilst I am stuck in my office contemplating escape.
