Title: PC help needed Post by: raab11 on March 24, 2006, 07:28:28 PM any help appreciated guys; since early today i keep gatting pop up messages saying; message from system to alert saying i need to fix my registry and directing me to various websites where i can download programs to do this. is this a scam or something to worry about? thx guys jimmy(raab) Title: Re: PC help needed Post by: Cybertim on March 24, 2006, 07:30:40 PM yep mate.. not really a scam but just an advert from a browser hijacker go to www.download.com and download and run adaware.. that should fix it for you.. its not dangerous but very annoying
