i am connected to 2 peers at present neither are tracet or rabb

but the tracker is a bit silly like that sometimes you never actaully get connected to me but will still download from the otehr peers

I'm there hun, download speeds aren't great cos I've got three on the go downstairs too!

it will take about 6-8 hours for me too seed it fully so thats the best idea

trace download speed aint great as the fastest upload speed i can get is 256 in the uk

But it doesnt help that my bandwidth is being split between 4 downloads, Blonde Forum AND BlondePokerLeague  lol


3 downloads running on desktop downstairs and 425 running up here on my laptop.

I'm surprised everything hasn't ground to a halt  lol

i just got my new laptop today

which will be under used due to the fact i have 3 desktops scattered round the house

and i dont go away often enough so i am planning that each wednessday after i get back from glasgow

to be making the poker425 show DVD quailty using the laptop

this shouldnt increase the file size either but will require people to install a correct codec (which i will supply)

The reason I mentioned this is because all anyone in the Bit Torrent community asks for is a thank you and a reseed back at 1.1 OR BEYOND.  All double dutch to you probably, but most people would of seen where I was coming from.

But I just wanted to point out that we are most grateful to Iron, & I've bought his actions to the attention of the Suits at 425.

Ironside, I and I expect everyone who downloads the show appreciates the service you provide as we don't all have sky, but for the love of god please use x264 ;) It will half the filesize and improve the quality. You could include the relevant codec inside the same torrent that is used to download. I gaurantee all the scandies are using VLC player and won't have any problems with it.

I used to do a lot of video encoding using vegas video/adobe premiere so if you want any help/advice on using different codecs please give me a shout in a pm.

i tried divx but the sound and videa became unsynched so tonys mouth was opening 2 minutes before he spoke

was hoping with my lappy dedicated to doing just that once a week it would work ok

I always seed way past 1.1, but 1.1 is minimum requirement.

If you seed past 1.0 how is evreyone else supposed too?

For evrey MB you upload, someone else has to download it, there is a finite number. Say the file is 1GB, if 10 people get the show, then a total of 10GB has been uploaded and 10 has been downloaded. (i am ignoring of course the original seed, to makes this easier)

Now if you upload 2GB, then thats 8GB that the other 9 people have uploaded, 8/9 is less than 1, it is impossible for evreyone to seed any value over 1.0

I've always meant to check this out but when you talk about reseeding is that the same as leaving it on the puter for other people to upload? I usually leave all the stuff I upload until I have a full drive and then burn and purge as much as I can.

If you look in Azareus or whatever you use it will tell you your ratio - if you leave everything to 1.1 or above that is seeding it back.

FFS James you know it turns me off when you get all technical on me.

Right I've seeded to 1.8, so I will stop it now.

because there are 10000's of selfish people out there that download and then turn off its possible for all users to have a 1.1+ ratio (overall )

But those users count, its a finite system, evrey MB that is downloaded, has also been uploaded (except the original seed)

its also listed on this site (http://tr.searching.com/view.php?id=5369596) same tracker so if te trackers offline then it wont work but if its just a database issue there should be no problem
