Title: Am I playing too tight? Post by: mjrevie on March 27, 2006, 02:31:09 PM Was my fold on the turn too weak or was it the correct play. Put one of them either on two pair at this point, or ace with a better kicker.

Title: Re: Am I playing too tight? Post by: TightEnd on March 27, 2006, 02:57:43 PM you're in the small blind, so pre flop is ok
got to be cautious though with Ace rag....you want to hit two pair yourself or get a draw, not get wedded to the Ace you pick up a gutshot, but you know you are behind on the turn you haven't got the odds to draw to the 2 you need, I think the fold is ok though personally I could happily check call at these levels and see what sort of Ace he is playing with Title: Re: Am I playing too tight? Post by: temp0r on March 28, 2006, 08:51:33 PM yeah so much weak bluffing by idiots goes on around this level check-calling makes you alot of money in the long run. if you take that kinda style onto the higher levels you'll get destoryed though so watch it.
i'd call and call on this one personally. |
