Title: Re: Greetings From Las Vegas Post by: redsimon on March 29, 2006, 06:24:32 PM Off to Caesars Palace soon. $80 +$50 rebuy (1 rebuy only) 40 minute levels and 4500 TC to start. Prolly best value tourny in Vegas for less than $150, hell the competitions so soft here even OldKingcole chopped a Omaha tourny at the Plaza. No sightings of Heid yet though.

Title: Re: Greetings From Las Vegas Post by: redsimon on March 31, 2006, 08:21:02 PM Well I'm back in wet old Nottingham. That Caesars Tourny was good, got 3rd for $688 (less 30% tax eeek) and a 4th at Plaza for $210 to end up going home with nearly the same money I went with, got to echo other posts elsewhere, Caesers are the best value for those of us on a limited budget,,,

Me too. Most Casinos paid in chips but Caesars insisted on cash and all wins over $600 have to be signed for with USA resoidents completing a form which is forwarded to the IRS (with nothing witheld) and non residents getting 30% withheld. Certainly made the decision of how much to tip easier. The cardroom guy reckoned it was straightforward for Brits to claim back. I shall soon find out :) Teach me not to consider I could win more than $600 at one time :) and get a ITIN number before playing :blonde: Title: Re: Greetings From Las Vegas Post by: Doc Bok on April 01, 2006, 01:43:02 PM I cashed at the Mirage in a sit n go $180 and they got me an ItIn number there and then,Didn't even need to ask for it.
Fantastic service Title: Re: Greetings From Las Vegas Post by: Div on April 01, 2006, 02:00:10 PM This was covered on another thread a while ago...
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=6171.0 It seems to vary by casino, but it's got to be worth contacting them before you fly out, explaining you need an ITIN set-up, and seeing how helpful they are. Title: Re: Greetings From Las Vegas Post by: claypole on April 01, 2006, 05:54:51 PM Welcome back mate - Caesars is great isnt it.
