On behalf of blondepoker school I have the pleasure in offering 4 comp tickets for the media launch of the masters new poker school at our fantastic Mayfair, London venue 5th April 7pm.

The blondepoker school will present an insight as to why poker is "The Ultimate Game of Mental Skill" in the form of a clinic/masterclass presented by El Blondie and the blonderpoker team.  Above all it will offer the opportunity to promote poker as a social game open to all looking for a fun new pastime.

The evening will take the form of drinks, a clinic with Q&As followed by a freeroll freezeout with $1,400 dollars prize money donated by blondepoker.

Send me an email with a question preferablly about Poker that you would like El Blondie to answer at the Masterclass.

You will be hearing a lot more about the school and it's plans in the next week or so- Boot Camps, Clinics, School Bashes and valuable promotions to blonde players.

Our first public course will be in the form of a fast track to the secrets of poker for beginners  starting on the 24th of April 2006, every monday for 4 weeks in London. Please spread the news to anyone you know who is scared of entering an intimidating live room or hasn't yet understood the game on the net.

This actual event is a media event.

So for this one it is just a little teaser for things to come, so I don't think travel etc is on the agenda. But this is only the beginning I am sure that blondepoker has many plans for the school and for future promotions

IFM Alas it is true - however as with all the songs on that album they are very different to the original.

I tell myself that Cash's version just completes the song somehow.

As for 'One' - quite possibly the best I have ever heard a U2 song sound, however I am very biased.

But Cash renders it a whole lot better.  IMO......

I was going to comment on Nakor's sig too - i really love that song. I hunted out the original version by sting and was really disapointed by it (sorry to any sting fans).

It's a great album with some great covers and the video for Hurt (originally by Nine Inch Nails) is truely moving.

From the program I can remember Catman going home late at night to see his dear old man and he ate lots of wierd food. pickles and stange cold stuff from the fridge. Good program actually and stands the test of time, just look at the reality tv these days.

The event will be well covered, I sent out another press release "5 Nil challenges the media to $100k strip poker challenge". A good response was had and I am waiting on Sharon Stone's agent. She really does play poker and is interested.

:-) Paddy Power sent out a brilliant spoof press release on April fools day about an alledged Strip Poker Event in Estonia- I am proud to say I was the first person to call for a ticket- Daaah

Wednesday will be a fun and relaxed blondepoker event- the point , apart from winning is to try and get information that will help you in Poker- What is Blondie thinking. If we all can get into the mind of great players, learn a few of their tricks and use them. Life will be more fun for sure. This is a great opportunity to get the max info from one of the world's greatest players.

catman when you say teachers (blonde team) who exactly are you talking about ?  Obviously Dave & tikay,  is there anyone else who has enough experience and knowledge to teach ??

Yes you , me and anyone who has played a lot of poker could teach a novice from the mistakes we have all learnt.

The art of poker in my eyes is to always be a student and to always learn.

The most important person who is qualified to teach you, me or Dc is ourself. Learning from others and ourselves is what it is all about.

Now this topic could be a life long thread on any poker forum. The School is initially about teaching novices, then when it comes to the advanced training you will rightly only want the best - DC, TK and they have lots of very good friends who will join them.

Unfortunately and with some regret I cannot attend tonight. My daughter has had toothache and picks today to have an abscess develop. Bottom line is I have to go to Colchester after work to pick her up and be with her after the sedation to remove some teeth. Families eh, I'm gutted, I was really looking forward to meeting everyone but my daughter needs me.

So about my place in tonight Masterclass. I have spoken to Catman and whoever phones the office first to confirm attendance......can go in my place you lucky lucky people!

Also while i'm on the topic i'd like to say thank you very much to everyone that contributed to making the night a big success, El blondie for helping me as much as he could and for picking up the bar tab, Tikay for lasting more than 5 minutes  :D and helping claire win the money and just being a laugh (love ya man) Catman for being a top bloke, the dealers, the manager who said we could go on for as long as we wanted, last but not least Roy who was tournament director for the event and ended up being my taxi driver home ( cheers fella see ya friday)  All in all the masterclass with Dave was brilliant, and a top night all round, Looking forward to the next one already. It's things like this that make me proud to be appreciated with blonde poker and the fact that i came 2nd and won $300 was an extra bonus
