Title: UK Student Championship Post by: moritzey on April 02, 2006, 12:49:06 PM Are any blondes playing?
Does anyone have chip counts? I think they played down to 30 yesterday, but couldn't find anything on the internet .. Title: Re: UK Student Championship Post by: mikee_j on April 02, 2006, 09:33:48 PM check out www.ukstudentpoker.com. should have some stuff in there!
i was due to play in this but clashed with a family birthday so i couldn't make it! think there was just under 300 runners with them playing down to 30 on day one. i know a mate of mine Adam finished 3rd but thats all i know! Title: Re: UK Student Championship Post by: moritzey on April 02, 2006, 11:14:49 PM Thanks. Was on that website, too, but they didn't seem to bother with an update. Got in touch with a mate who played by now, so got all the info that way, though.

Another guy from Strathclyde won it, Dan think he plays the tuesday afternoon game at cincins. I finished summin like 160th :D
Title: Re: UK Student Championship Post by: fergus8 on April 04, 2006, 04:34:55 AM yeah was a great buzz to get as far as i did, as i heard it was the biggest live event in the uk ever!
so dans achievment was on another planet- well done that lad. as for your mate jinky he had over 100 thousand chips, i hardly dented him for more than 10% of his stack. but that river queen was the highlight of the weekend, as i stood up on the rag turn ready to walk then bang.........LADY, i proceeded to shout glasweigen profanities at the table. great tourny.
