Title: Any Techies about ? problems connecting to internet via UKONLINE
Post by: GURNFISH on April 03, 2006, 11:50:11 PM
I am unable to connect to the Internet via my UKONLINE (unlimited access account).

It is not my modem because I have been able to connect via another account.

Any ideas what it could be or will it be a problem at UKONLINEs end ?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks Bongo I've got that number and they never answer.

Jammer - Every thing works as normal until it comes up Verifying Username and Password, it then pauses and disconnects.

The message is something like "unable to connect to remote computer".

have you tried dialling the number that your modem dials to connect? it could have the wrong number.

have you tried testing your modem using telnet?
