Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: Rusty on April 05, 2006, 01:14:22 AM a few hands later the same guy made the comment "make a pot size bet, fold" which made me doubt my decision, but maybe that was his plan.
Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: bobby1 on April 05, 2006, 01:44:35 AM you could have called, your hand is strong but I would have folded in that spot too.
Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: ifm on April 05, 2006, 01:59:42 AM i agree, he looks like he's drawing throughout the hand, gotta think he hit.
Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: NoflopsHomer on April 05, 2006, 03:00:08 AM I think you should lead out on the flop for about 2/3 to 3/4 of the pot.
Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: Rusty on April 05, 2006, 11:59:15 AM so u think i should have reraised to see where i stood preflop, interesting
Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: thetank on April 05, 2006, 12:33:38 PM Not necessarily pre-flop. A lot would depend on your opponents, but you would usually want to stick some sort of aggressive move in there before the river.
Either by betting out on the flop, raising the other players weak-ass flop bet, or betting out the turn. Whichever felt right. You be the player asking questions with your bets. You asked him no such questions untill he made his flush. Good fold in the end though, really not worth a look see to see if your trips are good on that board, especially on the bubble. Sounds like he thought you'd call and is annoyed he over raised. You'd have called for another $450, right? Title: Re: $6 turbo bubble Post by: Rusty on April 09, 2006, 04:21:39 PM probably not, but im saying that now, at the time, maybe
