Post by: The Baron on April 06, 2006, 10:00:18 PM 2 - 0 down from the first leg. Went 1 - 0 down at home tonight, so needed four.
They've just won it. Title: Re: Anyone see the Boro game? Post by: Nem on April 06, 2006, 11:32:52 PM Oh no does this mean McClaren credentials for the England job have just improved? :( He will definitely be the next England manager. Title: Re: Anyone see the Boro game? Post by: Indestructable on April 06, 2006, 11:35:26 PM Superb result. I agree that this is a good sign for Mclaren for the England job. He has a good record as a coach at man Utd and with Boro to have won a cup and this European run. This combined with his experience in the England camp makes him favourite.
Title: Re: Anyone see the Boro game? Post by: Tonji on April 06, 2006, 11:40:09 PM I just don't rate him as a manager, but it does seem as if they will go for an English manager, & he's now looking like the only qualified candidate.

I hereby promise that I will never, ever, EVER slag off Maccarone again. Worth every penny of his £8 mill tranfer fee. And I can die happy now that I've seen: 1. Mark Viduka sprinting 2.
