Gambling Commission publishes draft lotteries guidance to licensing authorities Draft guidance to licensing authorities covering the administration of small society lotteries has been published for consultation by the Gambling Commission. The document is the second in a series of three setting out licensing authorities’ new responsibilities under the Gambling Act 2005. Gambling Commission publishes sector-specific licences and codes To help different sectors find their way around the Commission’s proposed new rules for operators we have published a series of sector-specific licences and codes. These are all based on the full proposals set out in our main Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice, published for consultation on 10 March 2006. Casino Advisory Panel announces list of local authorities bidding for new casinos The Government’s Casino Advisory Panel has announced that 68 Local Authorities submitted formal proposals to be considered by the Panel for one of the 17 new casino locations.
