Title: The Secrets of Online Power Poker
Post by: snoopy1239 on July 17, 2005, 08:22:13 PM
Has anyone heard of this manual/book? Does anyone own it? Is it any good?

Written by Jessey May, Parkinson, Grey, & Gardner - I think.

I've always been put off by the scam-esque marketing of it.

If you have a dig through the Gutshot article archives there was a review of this about 3months ago.   I've had a flick through and if you are always finishing on or around the bubble/low cash then it may well add another element to your game to help you get into the decent money.   I thought the chapter about early play was a little too tight but what do I know.

What caught my eye was the humongous price tag. Made me wonder what words of wisdom were in the manual?  :-\

Must be Julian. Dave can't write. But he snores for England, he kept us all awake on the flight home from Vegas.

Just looked this up on Amazon - 81...!!! Not likely that they're gonna stock it down my local Waterstones then...

Any other recommended good reads for online play...?
