Title: limit bubble problem
Post by: ACE2M on April 13, 2006, 12:03:13 AM
Just playing a limit tourney and we get to the bubble. It's been a rock n roll tourney and all my big hands have been busted  and i've won all my shortstack value all ins with 67, 9,10 etc.

7 players left and i am utg with KK blinds at 800/1600, i have 7500, there are 3 players on the table who will be all in through the blinds (give or take 500). The blinds consist of s/b on about 22000 and playing pretty loose in the blinds and the bb who is raising anyone who raises his blinds he has 40000+ (basically making it 2 v 1 against the shortstacks who raise their blinds).

So basically i am almost certain to be playing for all my chips when i could sit and wait for someone else (possibly 2 or 3 peeps) to bust in the next 4 to 5 hands.

Limp, raise or fold?

Gotta raise mate and flat call any reraise, i tend to do this with all PP's in limit.
Then obviously stick 'em all in with an aceless flop, though you are almost committed if you get reraised (though on the bubble you can never really be committed).

Yeah i take the risk of busting, if evreyone is that short then a double up will sort you out for a top finish
