There's no reprimand, we know nothing was meant by it.

My eyes are so bad I never spotted it, maybe you neither, but apparently it had a cartoon which contained the "c word". Never knew snoopy said those sorta things!

They aren't deleted entirely they are moved to a mods board and discussed if necessary. If necessary too they can be moved back if once discussed they are felt to be ok. They still exist and are part of counts.

I thought I was in trouble at work this week as had an email from our IT Security that a photo sent to me had been intercepted as it contained something offensive. I was shocked by this and felt guilty even though I wouldn't do this sort iof thing (on my work pc anyway).
I immediately appealed that this should be checked out and I was also intrigued as to what this photo could be.
They then sent me the photo which was of an address label with regards to a charity I am helping and the offending aspect of the photo was that the label was addressed to Breast Cancer Care.  :D
Phew.

no problem, it stays up

moderating is sometimes an imprecise science with lots of borderline cases. We try our best but in many cases it comes down to judgement and "feel". However the "c" word has been removed whenever any of us have seen it on blonde.

Nice story!

I was in an online comp last night, & somehow (how is a mystery to me this morning) I needed to type in Scunthorpe. But it asterisked part of it!

Which is why blonde do not use a "swear-word filter".

From I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.

"Nottingham is a fine city with a fascinating history. It's well documented in official records that the city's original name was 'Snottingham', or 'Home of Snots', but when the Normans came, they couldn't pronounce the letter 'S', so decreed the town be called 'Nottingham' or the 'Home of Notts'. It's easy to understand why this change was resisted so fiercely by the people of Scunthorpe."

An expert (the prematurely balding sloppy, he's our best hope) has been called in to "doctor" it - but it's NOT a pic - it's a cartoon.

No, it won't. The PM Service has an anti-cartoon module which is non-enabled.

We have saved it for spoony, so he can do his thing. Thogh I'm not sure he will approve of his beloved beagle using that word.....
