Arrived here a few days ago!

Loads of Brits here..... probably between 30-50

I was watching the big $200/$400 NL Holdem cash game yesterday and Negreanu played. He was playing in the dark and making it $800 to play every hand blind then betting $400 every flop in the dark. He was still winning alot when i left!

I think the tourneys are better value than the WSOP. Less bad players but at least you get more chips to play with.....

Its the $5000 today so we get 10000 starting chips and a 60 min clock. Hopefully i am saving my good cards for the main event....

Seen Brian Wilson... on form as always. He had a last longer with Roland De Wolfe which he won. Two tight players they are ;-)

Would love to be the 3rd player in that!

On his right the 4 players are- Ivey, Michael Mizrachi, Mattusow and JC Tran! What a class lineup

He is upto 30,000 after rivering the nut flush v a set and described his table as er CRAZY!

Ben limps utg. Player in mid position raises. Folded round to Ben who re-raises. Mid position goes into the tank and dwells for ages before passing KK faceup. Ben had Td9d.....

40,000 now. Blinds 100-200. Would have had 50k but his opponent passed a Ten High Flush to Bens King High flush.  On a three to the flush board.

The fact I arrived at the cardroom just as a break started hampered my reportage...

And the fact that I'm a fat bastard meant squeezing between tables wasn't easy... But I would go any lengths as a journalist to bring the latest news to the blonde public! (Have you noticed that Jen and Snoops are as thin as rakes, that's why they are so good at updating, they can get into places the Camel couldn't reach!)

Teltscher went very deep in the 3k last night. Great sighs of relief all round when he failed to reach the money...

Martin was there earlier in the week, I just heard that he is back in England now.

Huge pot for Ben. He is chip leader at table  with 50k. UTG is 2nd chip leader and raises 2k. Ben calls with AA on the button. SB makes it 8000 total. UTG now moves in for 35k with KK. Bens Aces hold up and he is on 90k, average is 20k!

put a hex on telcher for me, he knocked me out of ept final. he had a better hand than me so fair enough but he never shut up for 6 hrs and gave me earache.

He comes across like a complete idiot.

If u have the misfortune to speak to him, you will find out that he lives in Park Lane and drives a Ferrari within 30 seconds. He will then tell u this vital piece of information again 30 seconds later.

i wasnt going to be so blunt but i wouldn't disagree. He was brown nosing rob hollink all day it was pretty offensive.

he kept going on about what cars we drove and where we lived and how much money he earns and what a great business man he is. i nicked his BB relentlessly just to cheer myself up.

30k... played bad in one pot then lost a 60k pot when i called in front but my opponent hit on the river :-(

Gotta love these players who think they have an edge so big they can fold KK!!!

As for Teltcher, i am a card carrying member of his fan club....

Had the misfortune of being sat next to this Teltscher knob on my first and only table in Deauville main event and everything that has been said about him rings completely true i got the Park Lane guff within a minute. I do hope literary genius Mr Channings prophecy of Teltscher shortly being introduced to the concept of regression to the mean isn't too long in coming true. A huge contender for quote of the year.

I also shared a table with him in Deauville, luckily for me Ross Boatman was the reciever of most of his crap.

He had a couple of digs at me, not long after dpommo sent him on tilt and he ended up re-raising all in against Bambos' UTG raise. Giving Bambos about 2-1 with AQ. lol his 85 failed to stand up......

Errrgh i bubbled! 29th out of 347.... annoying!

Got three outered in two huge pots in the last hour. 13 hours to bubble... not happy!

Getting excited about the main event tomorrow. Latest estimates are around 600 players which will make it a $15 million prize pool....

Its totally different from most tournaments because of the massive 50000 starting chips. I have decided my tournament strategy .... just hope the poker gods will be smiling at me. There are around 30-40 Brits playing it i think... so there is a good chance at least one will go deep!

The one thing i have noticed so far is players keep trying to bluff me. Its probably because i look young they think i will be too scared to play back at them... hopefully it will continue tomorrow.

How wrong "they" are.
