Royal Flushes have you seen?

I have played thousands upon thousands of hands and have yet to see the daddy  how many have you seen?

I have seen 10 or so straight flushes and quads on a number of occasions.

Five online 1 live

Every time i see a mirror

It's either six or seven, I've lost count.

Only one of them was me actually making the Royal; two were me losing to it, and at least three more occurrences where I was at the table when it happened, but not involved in the pot.

(Edit: I should point out, these were all online, on Tribeca.)

I don't think I've ever seen a royal, but I've had a straight flush and also thetank beat me, we both had the same hand, I can't remember it now, but we were in a showdown and he made a straight flush, took all my chippies, and I was out! :( (He might remember the hand better than me, it was about 4am and I was very tired!)

I've had 5 royals online since 2002.  But I haven't had one in about a year now.

...I did see one on Saturday though, in a live event.  He was CL then blew the lot apparently

got knocked out by royal flush in clubs in notts, i had a full house
we had a royal flush dealt on the board at Nottingham Gala too late last year, caused a bit of interest
and finally a friend got a royal flush in my home game 5 years ago. what was special was we were playing 5 card draw and he got dealt it pat. jammy bugger

I saw that hand, 2 people all in and the only chance one of them had was runner runner royal for the split...

people dont believe me when I tell them.

live poker is rigged. you should play online, it's more realistic.

bizarrely never online in 3 years and countless hours

1 live in a 2-4 game at the Monte Carlo casino last year.  It was the guy's 70th birthday and he got about $5k from the jackpot.  Nice touch except i played him all the way to the river....oops...

seen 1 online...had 1 online...none live

Had 2 at an online final table within 10 hands of each other never had another since.

Have been playing 2/4 and 4/8 limit at a place for about the last five or six weeks or so - in that time seen 3 royal flushes... Yes, I know I'm playing too much, but still... Only other one I remember seeing was mine, online - sadly in an STT, so no bonus for me. Didn't even win many chips with it. I think they're over-rated.

Also lost last night at a home game when all-in with a straight flush. Lost to 5 of a kind (4's). Possibly serves me right for playing what I believe is called 'baseball'...

Between 2-6.

A few weeks ago I had a 2 card Royal Flush and the other guy had a smaller Straight Flush. ;D

Ive seen 4 but never had one, all online. Saw one yesterday in a STT and one 2day in a MTT, todays one the players alias was CoolBlond (aint sure if there was an 'E' at the end). Is she a Blondite?? So 2 in as many days. all on Laddies. Probably never see one again. Had a K high straight flush....soooo close. lol

I've seen 2, never had one.  Got close twice - once with a K high straight flush and then a couple of weeks ago I folded 10c Jc after a flop with Ac, turn and river came Qc Kc

im not a big subscriber to the "wow vvvnh" routine with a royal flush, just another pot,  the player who hits the royal hasnt played the hand specialy or used voodoo to summorn the cards from the deck, often a player who rivers his royal flush is behind in the pot and can't lay thier draw down, Get it quietly!!  ;tk;

ive seen 3 and i have had them all.
twice in holdem and once in omaha but only the once did i use both my hole cards in holdem

I had one royal flush online but i saw the board come a royal flush live in the cincinatti club once.

To be honest i dont keep track - to me  Aspades Ks Qs Js Ts is just the same as  Aspades Kc 8d 7c 4d so long as i've

(a) won the pot

and

(b) got the maximum number of chips possible from my opponent

It's just another pot at the end of the day. I never go gooey at a straight flush, even if it is Ace high.

Do you go all gooey when you see a Royal flush lose to a higher Royal Flush? ::)

Got royal flush in local casino 2 months before progressive jackpot came into effect :(

playing online just over a year ago on Laddies a Royal Flush came on the board ( only second time ive had one )
i went all in ...but no one folded ....how could they call  ;goodvevil;

In a very deep 7 card stud cash game with bridge suit seniority rules perhaps.

I would be reduced to a big pile of goo along with everyone else.

Never had a royal

Had 3 straight flushes live, including one calling a raise with  2s 3s cos I hated the bugger and rivering the  Aspades to send an objectionable gentleman home cursing me

Also lost with quads versus quads twice, both for too much $ to think about, one live and one online

the live one was dreadful, in a cash game. He flopped it I turned it, money all went in

the online one I flopped it, slowplayed it, he bet his top trips/full house into me twice and I smugly set him all in on the river when he quadded too.

Somehow didn't feel as bad as seeing readies disappear in real life as it were.

Saw that happen at Gala in Nottingham about 2 months ago.

about a month earlier, it was down to 14 in a tournament and I was very short stacked with only enough for the blinds after a flop of  Ks  Js Ts we have 3 all ins as they go on their backs, first all in shows flush, second shows straight and third....Royal flush. That left 11 putting me in the money and I actually survived securing 10th......... :)up

Quads vs Quads can be nasty. I had it happen in the Vic once.

99 called a raise came J99 i lead, thinking he had AA-QQ, he raised so i re-raised, he went all in i call his JJ picked up the 4th on the turn! SICK!

Whats worse is that it was in the self deal game and the dealer cockedup my 2nd card and so instead of getting the card i was "supposed to get" i was dealt the "3rd from the bottom" which gave me my 99!

Been playing online for over 3 years. In my first 6months of playing I was dealt 3 royal flushes. There was me thinking they were easy to get and lapping up the 300 quid crypto was giving me each time.

Never had one since .....

Ive had 3 since 2001, 1 live an 2 online. Only seen some1 else have 1 once.

Had a couple online but never live.
My pal had one at the Broadway and i managed to blag Dik9 into giving us a free meal  :)up

Yep - I had this about a month after I started playing.  Flopped quad 10s then got outdrawn by quad Jacks grrr!!!
