Right from the other thread it would appear that after series 1, many other people are in the same frame of mind as me. They want to know what is down the hatch and who the f**k were those poeple on the boat at the end who took the young kid! Well Im mid-way through downloading the first 16 episodes of series 2 about 5.5 gig but i think it would be too big to burn to dvd and pass on but i have another idea. I have an external hard drive 30gb that plugs in via usb and is quite small. I copy the 2nd series to that, post it to someone, they copy it to their PC and then post on to the next addict. Hopefully ill get the drive back at some point but in no hurry. If anyone is intersted in this drop me a pm and ill see if i can sort something out. Hopefully should be donloaded by saturday afternoon but the speed varies drastically so hard to pin-point.

or just burn it onto 2 dvd's.....

It always annoys me when the yanks keep having weeks (or months) without a new episode, thankfully they don't seem to do this with 24, mainly cos Jack would most likely rip their testicles off if they did. ;)

I told myself that I wouldn't watch series 2 after the frustration of series 1.

BTW, did you see the advert in between episode 1 and 2?? It was for a sort of biotech company and the voice over sounded like something out of a cult type thing. This has something to do with Lost. There was a freephone number and a web site. If anyone taped it, can they post the address? Also, did you see the symbol on the shark in part 2?

The advert was for a fake company that i believe you find more about later on in the show called the hanso foundation. i dont think i'm allow to post the webpage but you should be able to find if you do a search for it.

The freephone number got a hidden password which you use on the website. I think the website will be the start of a game/puzzle . The guy behind Lost did something like this for Alias. If you want more info pm me.

Have you seen till the end of the series 1 of Prison Break Ivlarc?    I would like to torrent these, but I can't find any with mpg or mwv  at the end.  I can only find it with avi at the end of the torrent. I can't seem to open those torrents.  Prison Break is a great series.

Aye .avi files are the way forward, half in size and quality is just as good. Lots of DVD players play them (usually the cheap ones too :D ) just make sure they say divx or xvid compatable.

To watch them on PC you just need a video codec that plays .avi files. Theres tons of codecs going around which all basically do the same job. Try the codec from divx.com or try VLC media player, comes with codecs attatched. Google is your friend ;)

US are on episode 20 - very good clifferhanger, think UK are on episode 14.

if you are after TV progs from Mininova ( I only ever use mininova for tv shows, I find it the best personally), I always use the ones with "eztv" in the title, top quality and you know they are not fakes and are safe.

OK, I have a question.  I have only seen up to tonight's episode.  Are Jack and Locke now committed to typing in the numbers?   If those two are tied up messing around with that, then that only leaves four other people who can make the island function.  Sawyer, Kate, Jin and Sayid.  Without them, the Island would fall to bits.

If this is right, then hitting someone with a club is a hell of an introduction. But then again, in series one we had a torture scene on a guy that hadn't done anything. So maybe that's just the way the African guy says hello where he comes from.

Someone told me about a LOST site today.  It is called something like  Watch Lost.com   .  In a similar way to Nemesis' site , you are able to watch it straight from the site after you become a member which is free...   

do you have any ideas of the actual site to which I am refferring ?

I did some pretty extensive searching for streams for lost when Nems bit the dust, i only managed to find streams from series1, both C4 and ABC do these.

I have only watched series 2 up until tonight's Channel 4 episode.   The new character Ana Lucia is driving me insane.  All she does is shout orders at people.  The most annoying thing is that everyone just dips their heads in submission and takes it. Even Mr. Eko is afraid of her.  It is completely unbelievable. The scene when the other survivors were stopping at the stream for a drink and she chased them on  " Ohh please Ann, we are all tired ".   If they were tired, they would stop and have a drink.  I know I would.

 What a load of ....


Please tell me she gets eaten by a shark or bitten by a poisonous tree frog later in the series.  She is the worst character now.  That position used to be held by Charlie. 

I'm not telling you what happens but they will explain why they are in such a rush.

Does she stop acting like Rambo soon?   I saw the clip for next week,  her swinging fists and bossing more people around.   I will give it 2 more episodes.   


It's 2007 until Prison Break returns.  That is a  good series.

Ana Lucia is well fit even though her character is a bit too much in your face. if you think about it she has to be like that as was shown in last nights episode due to everyone on the island in her group where acting like total muppets. she was in resident evil

She is slightly very annoying though.  I have always hated movies or TV shows that have a tough women in it.  It is so unbelievable.  I prefer Kate

Each to their own though. Atleast Ana Lucia could scare away Halloween guisers on Nov 5.  She may be some use for that reason

What was your take on the Sopranos IFM, tbh I didnt think there was a weak episode in season 6. The last one there, I was expecting something major at the end, like when Chris was walking out of that diner, I thought for sure he was going to get clipped.

It is brewing up nicely though if Season "6.5" is to be the end.

It started off very surreal but got better as it went along.

 i love the sopranos but they do seem to just throw in the odd "filler episode" that just does nothing at all, so one week it's rivetting and the next is dull.
I think they'll make a few more series, the ratings are still high in the US and i fancy the lad to be involved more and more in the business.
That's the beauty of the environment they can introduce one character and wack another :D

Channel 4 have lost the rights to LOST.  It will be on SKY now.  Apparently a $40 million deal was done

I think they said when it started Lost was getting 6 million viewers, but was down to 2 million by the end of series 2. Are there 4 million pepole downloading it? I think it's crazy that they don't show it at the same time across the world, I'd much prefer to watch it on my TV but if they're gonna make a series that's so addictive what do they expect?

Channel 4 is my favorite channel on TV.  But they do have a habit of getting rid of good TV shows.  Originally Prison Break was going to be shown on C4, but they gave the rights to C5 instead and ALIAS was dropped as well from C4 after series 1.  ALIAS and Prison Break are two of the best shows in recent years and LOST is good as well
