Title: NL Cash win rate?
Post by: byronkincaid on April 25, 2006, 08:56:10 PM
What's a good long term win rate for NL cash, say $.25/$.50 6 max? I keep reading about PT BB/100. Does that mean if I was winning $1 per 100 hands I would be 2 PT BB/100? How many hands an hour roughly do you get playing 6 max?

Cheers

OK google is my friend, apparently 7 PTBB/100 is considered good and a PTBB is 2 x BB so in my case 7PTBB = $7.

Nicked from another site:-

pokertracker, but a bb in pokertracker is a big bet, not a big blind. Since there is no "big bet" in nl, it's a conceptual unit of measure, 2x the big blind

thought that would be what it is, but a bit silly for NL use!

Surely it's easier to talk in Blind units

I prefer to measure my NL cash win rate in buy-ins lost per 100 sessions. :)

On Prima sites you will get about 75 hands / hr 6 handed.

My spreadsheets show profit measured in Number of BB won per hour, per 100 hands and then %ROI per session, level, site, game and time of day

No idea if this is correct but it helps me maximise my thought process

Then analyse hand stats through pokertracker

The Beaufort and richter scale columns (XX and YY on Excel) are presently blank

I think the PT BB/100 is 2 big blinds as it then falls in line with limit poker. As the the betting round on the turn and river is twice what the actual BB is.
