kind of anyways, we split it after playin headsup for a bit which wasnt really going anywhere.

It was the £5 rebuy at the Newcastle Grosvenor and i took home a whopping £397.50 (its whopping to me anyways).

Been playing this tournament everyweek since november and im ecstatic to have finally won it :D I feel my live game has dramatically improved over the last few weeks, so overall im very happy.

Should i now be moving up and playin the £10 rebuy or should i just continue with what im playin now? Also i seem to have gathered a reputation as the "tightest man in the world" as one player put it, hows the best way to take advantage of having this table image? any advice is welcome.

Congrats mate well done, the first live win is awesome.

As for moving up it really depends on whether you can afford it really, the standard is only slightly better because people will still shove 'em in with any 2 cards, just slightly fewer people.

Taking advantage of a tight table image?
Usually positional raises and reraises will get through uncalled a lot more but to be honest if you are tight then it is very difficult to reraise with trash, that comes with experience if at all.

I think il give it a few more weeks still just on these £5 games and see if my game has actually improved or if I've just been gettin lucky. I'll also start keeping records of my spendings and winnings in these live games to see how i stand for profit as to whether i can afford to move up with my new "live poker bankroll" instead of just the money i have in my pocket.

As for my tight image il just have to try experimenting with the raises and reraises especially against the guy who called me "the tightest man in the world", i hope he isnt a member of blonde that i havent yet came across.

I can imagine it feels great! Maybe you could give me some tuition, I can't seem to do well at live MTTs, think I feel more intimidated than I do online... that and the fact I usually giggle if I'm being analysed!

I'm sure theres better people to go to for tuition on live games Poppet, im still learning myself, but i suppose everybodies always learning in this game.
