Title: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: Mr F on April 26, 2006, 01:19:54 PM So being a Blonde has helped me get over the fact that I don't know much and if I have a question I should ask. So this thread is for anyone like me who thinks there being stupid and will be ridiculed if they ask a simple question.
I'll kick off. Will someone please tell me the difference between a satellite and a super satellite? (And please no references to metal things that orbit the Earth) Title: Re: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: RED-DOG on April 26, 2006, 01:22:09 PM Satellite= single table
Super satellite= milti table Title: Re: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: Mr F on April 26, 2006, 01:24:05 PM Thanks Red,
Next question, What's a milti-table? (Sorry I couldn't resist) ;goodvevil; Title: Re: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: HarlemShuffle on April 26, 2006, 01:34:21 PM Satellite= single table Super satellite= milti table I always thought a super satallite was a satallite to a satallite. Well I've learned something new today anyway. Egg (Breakfast) Chicken (Dinner) Title: Re: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: Dingdell on April 26, 2006, 01:41:32 PM why is it that the number of satellites I play for the wsop directly correlates to the number of games i loose. Isn't there a mathematical equation I can use that will prove that at some time I will eventually win a table? :(

Isn't there a mathematical equation I can use that will prove that at some time I will eventually win a table? :( The mathematical equation you are seeking is V = N x T Where V is the position in the tournament you are trying to achieve N is the number of runners in the tournament and T is the number of tournaments you wish to play to achieve V So if you only want to play 1 tournament and you want to finish first then the equation becomes 1 = N x 1 Therefore the only number that will make this mathematical equation possible is if N=1, therefore you need to find a tournament with only yourself as the participent. (i believe i've passed this wisdom to you once before!) Therein ends this open university lesson ;) Title: Re: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: TightEnd on April 26, 2006, 01:49:07 PM x-(tight passive)/y-(fish per table) all divided by your aggression quotient

Thank you for your wisdom monkey boy ;-) Title: Re: Things you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask Post by: matt674 on April 26, 2006, 01:51:26 PM You are still talking poker here arent you??
