Title: 7 card stud - tourny structure help Post by: Tractor on April 28, 2006, 03:37:40 PM Anyone know a good structure for a 7 card stud freezeout tourny?
As every player antes each hand I can see the structure needs to be slow. Should have about 24-30 players. Any advice mucho appreciated. Title: Re: 7 card stud - tourny structure help Post by: RioRodent on April 28, 2006, 05:25:34 PM Jase,
I would suggest using the WSOP structure as a starting point - http://worldseriesofpoker.com/structures/MainEvent/Event10.html (http://worldseriesofpoker.com/structures/MainEvent/Event10.html) - obviously with a shorter clock. Do you have any chips that you don't normally use, to use as 5's? BTW, I think you'll find that 7-card Stud should be a Limit game... I seem to remember your schedule had it listed as either PL or NL. Ive looked at the wsop structure, I had a feeling Luton ran a 7/s tourny and was hoping someone might know what they ran. Cheers Alan. Ive found some old Luton Tourny results and there events were always pot limit, but rebuys...Maybe better as a rebuy? |
