Title: MTT Players
Post by: bundle on May 01, 2006, 06:03:57 AM
My dad always told me if you don’t ask you don’t get… although I might regret writing this I thought I might as well ask.
Is there any of you good MTT internet player (you all know who you are) that might want to tutor me by means of hand histories for me to study.

I will be flying back to the UK within the next couple of weeks, I was in hospital a while back and things have not worked out so good, so I need to come home for surgery, ( I can’t pay the 140k they want here) this will leave me laid up for a couple of months I’m sure, at this point I’m unsure of how I will make a living while I re coupe and thought if I could study the good players while I have so much time on my hands I might be able to support myself, I fell a bit stupid asking but well I feel stuck right now..

I understand if no one replies, but like I said, don’t ask don’t get.

Thank

I'm sure you'll get some people interested on this one

I'm useless at online MTTs!

I hope the surgery goes well, please let us know how you get on

Hi bundle, I'm sorry to hear about your problems, hope things go ok for you.

I don't think studying hand histories is the way to go, there are so many other variables that go towards making your decisions

I have sent you a PM

Hi Bundle,

I recently put two full hand histories up on my blog that I was most proud of (read not embarrased by) here is the link to them one is a $50 PL MTT with 100 ish runners which I took down the other was a $33r to the WSOP main event which I finished 17th in well out of conention but fun none the less.

Look out for the celeb appearance on my right of TJ Cloutier near the end in the WSOP sat.

I don't claim to be anywhere near as good as some of the guys on these boards so I assume some of the HH will get ripped apart. I hope these help.

hi bundle

i hope your health problem gets better sooner rather than later but what better way to spend some time than poker. i play a lot of mtts but hardly ever win. i am usually quite lucky on the $5 rebuys turbos and get placed a fair bit. i dont think lokking at my hand history would help you excpet to tell you thats not the way to play...lol. i seem to lose patience if ive not had cards for a while. this is a problem i know i need to sort out but just cant help myself. i get to being chip leader then blow it.
if you get any big messages coming at you from the HH, please share your tips with us as all advice helps towards becoming a more seasoned player

good luck and good health to you

I am purely a STT and cash game player (online) so i can't help with HH.

However, i would recommend Harrington Vol 3 coming out at the end of the month. From what i hear its a situational book that may be of help. I'll be purchasing it.

Hope all goes well!

Bundle, I played a couple of deep stack tourneys on Stars the other day. They took all night and I ended up ITM in both after bouncing up and down from chippy leader to shorty a few times. I'd be happy to request the HH's and email them to you, if you are OK to post any hands you think are crap/good/weird or whatever on the hand analysis forum. That way maybe we'll both learn something.

PM me your email if you want to

Good luck with the op
