You can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: brad.strider on May 01, 2006, 11:48:30 PM ive just downloaded it nem, looks pretty nifty, i will need to mess around with it though to get used to it
Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Nem on May 01, 2006, 11:50:29 PM The new tab browsing is even better than FireFox.
Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Ironside on May 01, 2006, 11:57:36 PM please note it is only a beta test so therefore likely to be less stable than most mircosoft products

It just kept freezing up and I couldn't get any internet . I had to go into control panel and de-install it. Computers are sorcery and witchcraft to me :D This summer, I will be mostly living in the dark ages Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: brad.strider on May 01, 2006, 11:58:59 PM please note it is only a beta test so therefore likely to be less stable than most mircosoft products ok that answers my problemTitle: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Ironside on May 02, 2006, 12:02:19 AM wish people would stop telling people to install this install that without letting them no the pitfalls
not everyone is a PC whizz kid and not everyone understands what a beta version of a piece of software is Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Nem on May 02, 2006, 12:03:22 AM I installed it, but as usual when it comes to computers, I had a :blonde: It just kept freezing up and I couldn't get any internet . Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Nem on May 02, 2006, 12:04:19 AM wish people would stop telling people to install this install that without letting them no the pitfalls not everyone is a PC whizz kid and not everyone understands what a beta version of a piece of software is I'm not a computer whizz kid, and you dont need to be to install this software! Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Ironside on May 02, 2006, 12:04:50 AM the fact that its a beta test of a mircosoft product means its likely not to work
most mircosoft products that go gold still have major bugs in them Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: dik9 on May 02, 2006, 12:05:12 AM I installed it, but as usual when it comes to computers, I had a :blonde: It just kept freezing up and I couldn't get any internet . Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: ifm on May 02, 2006, 12:08:32 AM Beta testing is FAR down the testing route, it doesn't get to this stage if it "doesn't work", it comes with full support and a diagnostic tool.
Microsoft isn't exactly a fly by night company now is it? Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Sark79 on May 02, 2006, 12:09:19 AM I am genuine. It asked me, I have proof. Do I need to send it to them?
It came up with a purple icon on the desktop, then when I clicked on Internet Explorer it beeped. Nothing happened. When I clicked on the Blonde Forum icon on my desktop. It said cannot access this site. Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Nem on May 02, 2006, 12:10:22 AM This is BETA testing 2.

Microsoft isn't exactly a fly by night company now is it? no they arent but they hardly ever bring out a stable product as a gold there beta products arent that great i avoid at all cost I am genuine. When I clicked on the Blonde Forum icon on my desktop. It said cannot access this site. this is why because someone with a limited knowledge installs it and needs to get someone to help them out sark best thing i can sugest is to try and use the restore point Title: Re: N/P: New Internet Explorer Post by: Sark79 on May 02, 2006, 12:15:28 AM Its ok everything seems to be back to normal.
