Title: Not a bad beat story - honest!! Post by: mjrevie on May 02, 2006, 05:30:37 PM Its not me, but was this guy wrong to push here, or is this a fairly standard but questionable move. I just wouldnt want to risk my whole tournie on a pair of nines, especially with the blinds so low, at best he is going to be 50-50.
Also, is the fact that tournies are avaiable to play as soon as you get kncked out promoting this type of play?? If you had to wait half an hour or a couple of days to play again, would you make this sort of move? ***** Hand History for Game 4163308314 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $33 Buy-in Trny:22972772 Level:2 Blinds(30/60) - Tuesday, May 02, 12:24:45 ET 2006 Table Gaffneys Creek (Real Money) Seat 4 is the button Total number of players : 8 Seat 8: mrevie ( $3830 ) Seat 4: DKamar ( $1255 ) Seat 10: woodmont ( $1340 ) Seat 9: poehlcat ( $3115 ) Seat 7: Hattiwatti1 ( $2948 ) Seat 5: Bertl7 ( $1895 ) Seat 6: Bradleyvee ( $3937 ) Seat 3: whats_this1 ( $1680 ) Trny:22972772 Level:2 Blinds(30/60) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to mrevie [ Aspades 2h ] Hattiwatti1 folds. mrevie folds.
