You guys were very unlucky Nem, and definitely have a team on the up.

The food-poisoning thing was very strange, and I hope nothing untoward went on.

I'm sure you will support us in Paris  ::)

PS I am sure Dan is relieved although he must be prime suspect  :o :o

Just a Storm in a tea cup. The fact that 2 of our starting 11 were unable to play says it all. Some deluded Spurs fans are saying on other forums that if Arsenal were in this situation, they would be allowed to replay their game. Rubbish. Just clucthing at straws, like eveyone does. Spurs were not good enough, we've had a great season and we should be happy with that.

Spurs have had a very good season compared to recent years and I believe that if he sticks around, then Jol will eventually do with spurs what Wenger has done for Arsenal.
It just seems to me that things are starting to happen at White Hart Lane where as in the past, new dawns always went tits up for 1 reason or other.

If a club can let players like Mendes,Davis and Parmarot go(Cheers by the way),then things are looking up for you

Spurs needs a new stadium, more than anything. (On average 99.8% full every game)

Unfortunately, our Chairman isn't as powerful as David Dein.

Neither is ours  ;)

David Dein doesnt wield the power at Arsenal - the whole stadium move was down to the vision of Danny Fitzmann.

He is the majority shareholder and director in charge of the move to Emirates Stadium

Yeah, you believe that.

Amazing how there wasn't even a public enquiry and all the projects problems (opposed by local residents, local businesses etc...) just got swept under the carpet, Livingstone and the government moved mountains to get Arsenal their stadium. Spurs lobby local government for a Victoria line extension, to try and rejuvenate one of the most deprived areas of England, let alone London and we get told to f off by your friend "Red Ken".

in all serious its because arsenal have proper directors - Hill-Wood, Dein, Fitzmann, Bracewell-Smith etc.  A dynasty and a proper run club.

Spurs are just a pet project of Joe Lewis and have his son's mate running the club and a bunch of nobody's.  They are more ineterested in putting on a good spread in the boardroom on a match day than becoming one of the G14.

And that my friend is the difference - It truly is men against boys

Please. I give you facts and you lower the tone with men against boys bullshit. You have a short memory my friend and if it wasnt for your 'fluke' in Arsene Wenger you would still be with Bruce Rioch.

come on nem - i myself am being objective.  i am not being offensive just honest at the fact that spurs is not run properly and you can not wield power with boys in control - which is what you have.  Believe me all my spurs mates think the same.

And as for short memories - yes the 10 years under Wenger have been truly amazing - but let be honest we did win a hell of a lot of trophies under Graham - 2 leagues, 2 league cups (when it meant something), 1 FA Cup and a Cup Winners Cup.

We all know Bruce Rioch was a short term fix because after Graham - we wanted Wenger but he was under contract at Grampus 8 and he honours his contract.  Rioch was always a short term fix.

Happy to debate subjects where i know all the facts all night long but there really is no debate - i was just being hoestly truthful saying that Islington knew they could not aford to lose us to another borough and worked with us and without a strong board that we have including Keith Edelman as MD this would not have been possible.
