It's a nightmare, you had to make a stupidly late base-final turn due to a big hill in the way. This meant you had no time to adjust on final approach, if you were slightly off you could get it back but with a crosswind any small error turned into a huge error. I am glad they got rid of that airport!

I used to play the Blue Sq bubble tourneys which, if you dont know were free roll tourneys you would be entered into if you bubbled in a MTT or STT and I would guess 70%+ of the entrants never showed up to play. One particular month I started at a table of absent players and was clearing up like this. the occasional player turned up who wanted to carve the chips up but as I was playing for a $1000 first prize I just went into my HU game and went for there chips too. I got 4th for $360 and it wasnt until about 3 tables out that I was sat at a table with more than two other present players.

Looked like Daniel was tryin to make sure Mike atleast had taxi fare and money for a bite to eat while reflecting on his awful play. He was talkin about his style of play which is fair game and from the clips I've seen of the two of them there's no love lost and he's said nothing there that he hasn't already said to Mike's face. I'm only going on the clips I've seen and the one in this thread so can't say if he's been out of line elsewhere but I don't see anything wrong esp as it's in a public sphere....not as though they're whispering behind closed doors. From the little poker I've seen on the telly, I like D.N. Mine is Stephen Colbert at the White House Press Correspondents Dinner from earlier this year. Basically, if you haven't heard about this, I'll give you a brief backstory, Stephen Colbert plays on-screen an ego-maniacal correspondent who used to report for "The Daily Show" and now has his own sister-show. Now, at the White House Press Correspondents Dinner, which features all the press plus the President and other members of his government, he absolutely crushes Bush with the latter standing roughly five feet away. He gets very few, (if any) laughs from a very nervous audience, but that's more because the satire is so cutting, I also suspect that he knew the material wouldn't go down well live. Anyway, it's seperated into 3 videos of about 8 minutes each, worth the time. Probably one of the bravest comedic performances I've ever seen.

My friend forwarded an email to me ages ago which I just remembered. I just found it on youtube but it is seriously horrible and not for the faint hearted what so ever.

The film looks like it was shot in the 70's in a wildlife park in the uk. He gets out of his car to get a closer view of some lions as he wants better pictures. Unfortuently for him he didnt see the lion behind him. Won't describe what happens

Does anyone know if this is a real clip, or a fake

if you do post it, please clearly mark it. last year I accidently saw a gun in mouth suicide, a beheading and a failed parachute base jump from a camera mounted on the helmet. I don't really want a lion mauling to add to the things I can't wipe from my mind.

Following up the lion thread

I have personally been on safari with this guide. As dangerous as this looks the guy is a legend and a total expert on animal behaviour. One day on foot in a game park in Botswana we stumbled across a big male lion that we didn't see in a thick bush no more than 10 metres away, whilst we crapped ourselves he took total control of the situation and was a cool as a cucumber. The basic rule is lions are very predictable and if you don't run your unlilkley to have a problem.

He also has magical teleportation abilities. That's how good the guy is. My Uncle taught me as a child if something is in colour it is true. When we used to have a black and white telly years ago, my entire family were very pessimistic. When my Auntie returned one day with a fancy colour telly for my Uncle the whole mood of the house became better and more positive. I remember seeing the tv show Rainbow in colour for the first time and being blown away. For years I thought the character Zippy was a real guy from another country. My first day of secondary school was a tough time when I learned my Uncle had sold me a lie and the quality of the tv set didn't determine if something was truthful or not. Because this video is in colour, I believe it :-)

He posts videos on how to make the curries you would order from that place, along with how to make the base sauce (gravy) and the particular spice blends he uses. I've done a few of these recipes and genuinely it tastes like what I would order from the local curryhouse. Saves a few quid, that's for sure!
