He ain't having much luck at the moment.
Here's the story: He's up against Ross Boatman, who has 10 7 off suit in his hand and decides he quite fancies his chances with this one and raises. Rumiyt has AK♥. Nice hand! So he quite rightly raises another 500 and Ross goes all in making it 4800!! What can you do with such a pretty hand so well suited, but to call. Now here's the knife, the cards come 4-7-Q-Q-6 There are 9 tables left. Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: Mrs C on March 18, 2005, 03:56:23 PM Quick Chip count:

Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: Mrs C on March 18, 2005, 10:07:29 PM Well it's friday night and I think I might hit the bar in a mo. But I'll be back!! Don't you worry.
Julian is still going strong, And Zoro/pussin boots and John F, winner of last nights 300 comp, are all still in there and so is Ross. Though some geezer Zoro called Ve Ve Lucky has all the chips. Lucky had pair of nines, against pair J's and Ace Queen. The geezer hit his nines and bagged the chips. He has made a very pretty triangle out of them all. I'm sure our man Julian will pull through o.k though, THis geezers luck can't last forever. Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: schnucki on March 18, 2005, 10:08:26 PM Hi!
Please -> an update ;) Thanks Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: tikay on March 18, 2005, 10:14:15 PM Ok, I will try & get a bit of an update for this shortly. Rhow & El Blondie have gone out for a drink with John Shipley, so as soon as time permits.....
Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: tikay on March 18, 2005, 10:36:08 PM There are 18 left in this, & the names I can easily recognize are...... Steve Jelinck, 14k Burnley John, 1,900 Les Dangerous 12k John Kabbaj, 18k Ross Boatman, 30k Thewy (sat to Boatmans left) 30k. Chip leader, to clarify Rhow's earlier note, has a huge stack, after catching quads wqith pocket nines against AQ & JJ. I asked Steve Jelinck the guys name, & he said "V V Lucky"....... Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: tikay on March 18, 2005, 10:47:53 PM It's Mrs C here under the guise of Tikay.....
Just met John F and Noahb at the bar. Both are out, with John taking 18th plc. He bought me a vodka after the cleaner picked up my drink while i was studying the final tabel. Good ,man is John. Cheers Jphn. :-* Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: tikay on March 18, 2005, 10:59:04 PM bit behind here I'm afraid. alcoholic substances seem to have that effect.

The lucky geezer has still got a load but he ain't got 'em in a triangle anymore... If that means anything? Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: tikay on March 18, 2005, 11:59:10 PM Yup, I already did Phil. His exit hand was a bit complicated - an all-in by a short-stack, then an over R by a deep stack, but Thewy went in ahead, before Matey Boy caught a set when holding KQ against Thewy's AJ. Title: Re: Monte Carlo 1060 No Limit Hold'em Post by: bobby1 on March 19, 2005, 12:22:40 AM Sounds like a massive stck to the winner of that hand.
