Title: Should fat blokes play poker - well done Tracey
Post by: Snatiramas on August 14, 2006, 09:58:05 AM
In light of Dingdells magnificent third place finish in the main event at Luton last night I feel she has now answered once and for all her own doubts about women playing poker and also her own ability at the table.
And then my mind started to wander and realised it was all a cunning plan to get the great minds on here to improve her game......and if you saw my previous posts you know I think it needed little improvement. So here goes in a pathetic attempt to jump on the band wagon I now put it to this forum "Is there any point in fat blokes playing poker". Now those that know me know that I am a slightly rotund figure. It has come to my attention that skinny blokes are trying to claim their share of table space thus making me feel cramped and self conscious. I have tried wearing low cut tops to try and distract them but the response came back..."cover up lard face", harsh but probably accurate. So now I think it may not be possible for me to compete on an equal footing with thin blokes let alone women.
What to do.....
Okay this is it. I am finally going to do the "Let Snat Live" campaign. No more am I going to be the beached whale by the pool, oh no I am definitely going for the dead seal look. I am over the next few months going to apply my legendary short stack temperament to weight loss........could last half an hour. As my weight goes down I intend to keep updating you of my tournament results. We are starting the day at 20 stone 13 lbs. Nowhere to hide now especially in one of the mighty tasteful new pokerstars wsop tops I have in my wardrobe. By the way just had a disgusting milkshake for breakfast.
What you can do to help. Offer words of encouragement, laughter, your feelings about big blokes at the table. Do they win because of their ability to take up two seats. Are the thin blokes fighting back.
Lastly a heartfelt well done to Tracey. Never have I been happier to see someone other than me at a final table. Great effort.

You are right of course! We are booked for the next month and all our clients are completely mad - it's true - they come from northampton where there has definitely been a lot of interbreeding in the past! Look at Paul King who is a Northampton lad!  :D

Seriously Phil - we have a lot of pro footballers come in for treatments to help get them back into shape before the new season, if you want to have a go it's on the house and I promise to turn off the web cam  :D

Did you know that the Alias "Snatiramas" which Phil uses actually comes from "Samaritans" spelt backwards? It's Phil's "reverse logic".

Fascinating, or what?

OK, I'll go back to bed.

Well the diet is going well (he said lying through his teeth) so soon I will be a thin miserable bloke. Today I managed to rip the arm off a guy and spit in the hole remaining and all he did was say hello. As regards my rather tasteful new pokerstars gear the red is not nearly as vivid as Tikays face when he got called early on during day 2 of the £750 at Luton. Having said that, it was a top performance. What was it Tikay 9, 4 off

It was 10-7, if you don't mind. I read myself for QQ, that's the thing see? And Matey Boy had, would you believe, 8-9! I prefered not to hit my 2 pair on the flop.....!

I'm going to start going the other way, hopefully meeting Phil in the way. I'm currently 9.1 stone and am aiming for 11.5 (a size that I used to be, incredibly). First stop is my first home meal for a while. Thx mum!
