Will do Simon.

Tikay just went all in without looking at his cards and got called with poket 8's.
Tikay stuck the cards to his forehead so everyone else could see but only he couldn't.

The flop comes in his favour with 10, J, 4, Q - lovely.
Tikay doubles up

Tikay moves all in with his short stack with Q5 and Peter Roach calls quick as a flash with 4's
flop does not help Tony and Peter Roach takes another player out.

Julian Gardiner raised with A4 and been called by AJ. Julian looses the pot.

Odds on a home victory, Surely Alan Betson,Peter Roche and Rory won't all blow away their chips. Too knackered to make it back down to watch today.
Of the shorter stacks, watch out for John O'callahan and Greg Hill, both playing well yesterday. Yucel 'The mad turk' was playing well but lacks experience and I think someone will get a boost from his chips. Tony Cooney was playing excellently yesterday aslo and is another Irishman capable of making a big finish.

Julian Gardner moved all-in with Q-7, & got called by QQ. So he needs a LOT of help from the board, which comes......

Julian Gardner OUT

Bad News.

Simon Aces Trumper moves with Q-T, he runs into a local guy (Rhow described him as "a big guy with an orange top...) who had AK. Board came.....

8-9-A-8-6.

Simon Trumper is OUT. Brave effort by Simon, he never recovered from running into Joe Grech's straight last night.

Wow, just seen a whopper.

Bill White moves with A-9, & Bill O'Keefe takes him on with 4-4.

It looks all over when the flop begins K-9, but then a 4 comes to give Bill O'K a set, followed by ANOTHER 4 on the turn for...four fours....!

Right now, we have, amongst others, The Camel, Gareth The Nugget Jones, LuckyBlind, Davey TheTruth Newth, JBSC7769, & none other than Tom Red-Dog McReady. He aint a great player, by the way.

We are down to 18!

Burnley John & Notts Ian McDonald have a run in. Burnley John has 6-3, Ian has K-J. A dreadful board for Ian, as 7-2-4-T-5 gives Burnley John the straight.

These Blackpool boys soooooo lucky.....

And just prior to Ian McDonald's exit, Notts Greg Hill kept the Notts flag flying when he doubled up with K-J versus A-3. These Notts boys are sooooooo good.

They issued an Inter-Casino challenge to Blackpool, but the Blackpool boys all ran for the hills. Wise boys, eh?

Hi Redfox

El Blondie sleeping?

Absolutely not. He busted out very early last night, he's out of form right now. So he had an early night, & played Golf today. Wish I coulda joined him, I fancy a bit of golf with a few poker lads, but I was still in the comp, you know.....

And he's playing Omaha cash right now, heaven help the others on his table.....

Greg Hill OUT!

He called to see a flop with 6-7, after serial raiser Rory Liffey raised as usual. Flop came 8-2-T, Greg moved in for 28k, Rory thought for an age before calling with nothing - A-4. Turn was an 8, River was an A, poor Greg OUT, but another terrific big comp performamce by young Greg.

Greg busted out for 3,000 Euros......

El Blondie sleeping?

Absolutely not. He busted out very early last night, he's out of form right now. So he had an early night, & played Golf today. Wish I coulda joined him, I fancy a bit of golf with a few poker lads, but I was still in the comp, you know.....

If you call winning about 100 large at Walsall about a month ago being "out of form" I sincerely hope I get "out of form" soon.

Didnt know you were a gofer TK.

Now a golfing/poker weekend somewhere exciting sounds a grand idea.

Mixed round of each Omaha/Stableford/NLHE :)

Add it to your of list of to do's. Im sure Blondiepoker could set it up.

Me a golfer? Of COURSE. I was Captain (chirp chirp ) of Royal Ormonde Fields Golf Club in 2003. And I will officially be a "Past Captain" till I die. Strange, the ways of golf, eh?

Golf Match? Too right we will, starting at Luton, eh?

But I'm a crap golfer. No, really - I am worse at Golf than I am at Poker. (cue multiple insults, led by Red Dog...).

No, I think she was frightened she may not be able to control herself if we clinched in public. But we swapped names, addresses, e-mail addresses etc. If I cant persuade that beautiful young Lady in Greece to be mine, Isabelle moves up one spot. She really is rather nice.

Still, I am sure The Camel will give me a kiss. It's about the best bet for me I reckon. Dreaming of J & Isabelle, so The Camel plonks a wet kiss on my cheek. You guys have no idea what it is like to be a decrepit cretin.

Leave QPR fans alone Tikay!
Its not coincidence that my potential trip for Gutshot ties in with QPR at home to Gillingham and Sunderland! Will be my first visit since the days of continual season tickets back in the late eighties, early nineties. Hope they kept my spot in "The Loft" free for me!

And the lady in Greece is blushing!!

No, I havent got tickets sorrted yet. Thats not good news. Many years ago I could have called in a favour or two as I used to run the Midlands Supportes Club (and before the Gags Tikay, there were MANY members).
Oh well. If flights are confirmed I will ring and ask them. I bet the place has changed so much.

I like the underdog, Falconer to get 2nd !
Betson to win

Jimmy Wan out next

And so has Jim Reid, who was busted by none other than Graham Thew, who busted tikay out on Thursday in a MONSTER pot. Graham, of course, is Julian Thew's brother. Damn those Thews, DAMN them.

any info on the cards and how the action went down?

Chip counts soon as poss Simon, hard to see at the mo.....But it's costing 60k a round, 4 handed, so they cant sit still, and Alan is not giving these guys chance to breathe..

KPNUTS just came up & said Hi. Nice guy. I asked him why his screen name was KPNUTS, he said his name was Kevin Powell. Eh? Ah, K for Kevin, P for Powell. As in tikay. Got it.

Tony, it's Ken Powell, actually! Very nice to meet you and well done again on all the coverage. I will certainly be following future events right here on blondepoker. I'm just catching up now on what I missed of the main event final while I was struggling to the final table of the 150+r NL ... just home in the last hour after finishing 9th ... for anyone who's interested and still up at this ridiculous hour, Roy 'The Boy' Brindley and John O'Callaghan were among those still playing at the final table when I departed.
