Hi all. On the William Hill application form, what is the difference between the 'username' and the 'nickname'? Which one is used as your poker alias?

Your "nickname" is your online alias.

what's the difference between that and the username and which is the one that will appear when I play poker? I'm confused because the nickname only allows 9 characters and mine is 10.

The username does not appear "at the table". The nickname, or "alias"? Maybe that's how CochesteK arose?

Yes, that would make sense. I hate having to change my name due to character restrictions. I always end up forgetting which site has which name, etc.

Hi there RedDog (now an even less accurate colour descripton) - I have just been alerted to these pictures and they are splendid.

You don't look overly thrilled at the bleaching part, but you should be by the result!  You probably won't need to turn lights on now as the gentle glow from your head should do the trick.

Very well done.  I'm off to the States (sweet home California) tomorrow, and when I get back should be about the time you'll be looking to have your roots done.
