I have tried to register, but it will not accept, must be for new account holders only, unless you can tell me different.

Follow these simple steps to take part in the Freeroll talkSPORT tournament at PokerStars.com and treat your partner to a weekend in Dublin (while you play poker!):

1. Logon to www.PokerStars.com and Download the Poker software

2. Open a new account (no nicknames please – your contact details must be the same as your passport name!)

3. Go to Tourneys > Private section and select ‘TalkSport EPT Freeroll Challenge’

4. Register for the tournament using the password ‘talksport’

Anyone notice theres two Tanya Hides reg..one is Tanya Hyde the other Hide. Amazingly one is playing ultra aggressively the other is sitting out (presumably a reserve in case plan 1 goes tits up)

i decided to play the 15k on crypto

got a live one on my table he has won all bar 3 hands in first 15 minutes by going all in on the flop turn or river

so i just waited till i hit the board and played him at his own game

I'm in the PS and the UB one as well ... I think this is the lasty qualifier for the UB one :)

ouch ... just lost 2/3 of my stack with KQ dianonds ... flop 3 10 jack  turn 9 he goes all in , i call he shows a pair of jacks ....river a 9 ... giving him a ful house ....  next hand i get 55 flop 2 3 6 (2 clubs)  i go all in with my short stack .. called by 9 J clubs ... river  a club ... im out :(

And to everyone reading this thread who has also read the Ironside AK saga ... I just witnessed him massively overplay it again ... and get caught by a couple of 7's on the flop and another player with A7 ... he just called ironsides massive bets all the way lol  LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES MATE ;)

i will play the AK that way everytime as i had the player on a flush draw as A7 isnt a hand i would have put that player calling my raises on

Made the break in about 15th.  Found a couple of calling stations when I found cards.  Lot of people not taken seats so plenty of free chips about for about another 15 minutes.

I'm in as CremeEgg - currently 6th, but it's been a bit up and down. Got amazing cards early on and hit every flop - things have gone a bit colder now.

Lost with AK vs AA . . . guess I new as well.

Cool, made it through. Once we were down to 4 players I ended the tourney in two hands.

First called down what I suspected to be bluff -raise with only T9 on a 6442 board. Hit a nine on the river. Next hand had AK, and the BB liked his K9 on a K-high flop.

Forgot to thank pokerram for alerting us all to the tournament. That was the first time I've ever played on Pokerstars - doubt many people on the network have a 100% record in MTTs  :)

Nothing would have happened, the fella who came second would have gotten it, basically you wasted your energy not to mention robbed folks of their chance of stardom in the process.

Wasted energy - I think not. I qualified for the final on my first attempt at a multi tourny. Thus I was just gaining valuable experience.

Robbing folks of there stardom - If they're not good enought to beat me whom by my own admissionm, not very good then they shouldnt be in the final in the first place.

Anyway thats my rant over - not happy as had to be at work for 2pm, thought final wud've been done by then. Came a poor fifth. Always next wekk

Creme Egg  - unlucky mate - know what u mean about cards.

Just one small point, if you enter a comp which you can't win there is no pressure at all on your play and as such you will make raises and calls you wouldn't normally do, it affects your play whether you consciously know it or not.
The point with other players is:-
In order for you to reach the final you must have knocked out at least 1 player, most likely a lot.
That 1 player was knocked out by someone with no right to be in that pot with him in the first place, who know's he/she may have gone on to win the comp and gained a place alongside you in the final if you were not there.
No offence intended at all mate, just trying to point something out to you

well said ifm i thought the same in the channel 5 thing when you had to knock out all the USA players that was calling with anything just because they had no chance of winning and quite a few told me they was doing it just to p*ss us off
and try to spoil the tourney

interestingly RFC the american version of the same show starts their qualification at the end of this month on the same site.
I was gonna sugest a league where you get a point for every septic you knock out ;D

think of a good points system like
takeing out 1 of themfor 5
muppeting 1 of them for 10
if you take out 3 with chit you get a bonus

im in this will be fun

extra bonus points for taking one out with 72o
