Particularly how they're adapting to, what for most of them, will probably be their first live MTT... online action and six player live STT's don't really prepare you for a 300 runner event :) Title: Re: Uk Student Poker Championship Post by: Rupert on April 03, 2005, 12:26:57 AM Any news at all guys?
Title: Re: Uk Student Poker Championship Post by: tikay on April 03, 2005, 04:39:59 AM About what, Rupert? If you mean the biggie at The Vic, please see our Live Tournament Report. As to the Student Cup, Dave Colclough has always tried to support the Student & University Poker scene, so blonde have a three line whip in place for the UK Student Poker Championship, including Live Updates. Hopefully, I may play, but that just depends if we have "cover" for the Updates. Title: Re: Uk Student Poker Championship Post by: Rupert on April 03, 2005, 11:35:20 AM Hmm the student poker website said the tourney started yesterday... Just wondering if there was any news on whos where :D
Title: Re: Uk Student Poker Championship Post by: tikay on April 03, 2005, 11:50:13 AM Oops, I have had a touch of dementia here Rupert. You were talking about the UK student Poker Tourney, I was talking about the Oxford Cup. Sorry Fella, I don't have any news on what you clearly asked for. OK, the nice lady has arrived to take me to the Old Peoples Day Centre..... Title: Re: Uk Student Poker Championship Post by: Rupert on April 03, 2005, 12:09:28 PM lol ok no probs ;D
Title: Re: Uk Student Poker Championship Post by: jonthomson on April 05, 2005, 12:42:33 AM Hmm the student poker website said the tourney started yesterday... Just wondering if there was any news on whos where :D Result's now up on the site you linked to earlier. Spoke to a few people during the student freeroll on VC tonight (all of whom must have been knackered as I cashed in it :)), seems it was a good event.
