Title: 2000 PLO Paris
Post by: Mrs C on February 05, 2005, 10:16:16 PM
There was an astonishingly low turn out at tonights 2000 pot limit omaha game tonight, with only 18 players. >:(
The tournamnet was changed to a freeze out at the last minute.
Final table after only three hours - blondie chip leader - Simon Trumper, Surinder, Paul Testud, Ellie, Teddy Tulley all still in :D

Daniel lalouche takes the chip lead - on a flop of A88 he bets from under the gun - he is called on the flop and the turn - the river is the case ace to match the two in his hand - four aces takes down the biggest pot so far. 13,000.

Teddy & Surinder clash - Surinder has trip 10's, Teddy is up and down with a flush draw - the board pairs up and Surinder doubles up with a full house - Teddy is low stacked

Teddy out - Simon nearly out as well, he is all in with two pair against Blonde's straight with just one card to come - Simon hits his 20-1 shot to survive and deprives Blonde of a huge chip lead.

Simon is hanging on well. Blonde is of course the defending champion having won this event in 2004.

Simon is out on the bubble - his aces were beat by Charles' AQ 75 on a board of 55Q giving him a full house

Charles moves all in with the bare ace when there are three hearts on the board - Blonde calls with 10 flush and Charles is out. Heads up begins....

It's all over. Blondie check raises with two pair and a nut flush draw - Daniel calls with top pair and a straight draw - he makes a bigger pair and Daniel wins the championship.
